Or you could avoid paying $104 to an electricity provider and just go with Superloop for $69.95/month for 6 months and then $89.95 after that.

you do realise this is cheaper for the first month?

      • How so?

        • 30k rewards points is worth even $50 lol

SL used to be good, but their customer service is terrible.

also when switching over to another NBN provider, make sure to call SL and disconnect in advance, a single day over and they will charge you for the whole month regardless of usage (https://hbbsupport.superloop.com/hc/en-au/articles/150000145…)

I had a lightning strike a while ago and it blew the uni-d1 port in the ntd. Superloop provisioned uni-d2 within 24 hours and it's been working great ever since. Who are you going to call for help with Origin….I'll bet any money it won't be an Australian who you get to speak to.

Well my experience was like this - tried calling them to disconnect - office closed. Sent an email, asked to go to chat or call. Went to chat, cant do. Tried calling again immediately the day after start of bill date, some 'non-Australian' support guy answers who didnt care and/or didnt speak proper english flat out denied.

It took two weeks before the matter was finally settled during which they kept charging my card to take the full amount every other day.

Its like they purposely let made disconnection harder.

Anyway, Im not defending Origin, i know for a fact half their secondary support staff (but customer facing staff) is based off of Manila and some physically based in India (but not customer facing).

Never had to deal with OE on NBN though - will find out next month when i hop on their free month offer, Elec has been fine - could be better.

        • i got transferred 4 times, all aussie

it's 2022, still paying more than $90 for 100/20 is not a bargain. I'd swtich between SL or TPG whatever lower than $90 every 6 months etc.

    • I suppose iinet with fttb is cheaper for me. Includes pay as you go home phone all fo 60 per month,.

They are really expensive plans compared to others

where and how do you enter your Everyday Rewards number?

  • If I'm already a Origin electricity user, can i use this offer?

    • just saw this promo pop up on the Origin page, assume so (i'm already a customer.)
      30,000k points = 150$

Had a quick look at the plans and seem like a rip off as expected.
Will be looking to change in 2 months when Aqua finishes the first 9 months @ $50/m (50/20)
$45-55 for 50/20 is the right price for first 6 months i think
