Been monitoring the prices since last year and possibly the cheapest it will ever get before the C2 2022 OLED models land on our shores. Historically was only $110 cheaper than this back in December last year.
Personally paid $6,600 2 weeks ago at TGG including delivery in Sydney after some negotiations so this isn't too bad of a deal I reckon.
At this price the average ozber would buy two or three.
Reading a few comments above re waiting out for the C2 or how the C2 will be miles better due to improved processor. Here is side by side comparison by all things tech albeit it was between the 55” C1 vs 48” C2:
From what I've read the C2 48in is no different to C1, the C2 gets better than C1 from 55in onwards. C2s are around 10% brighter than C1s
You can cherry pick reviews and YT videos to move a narrative….this is an example of one such comparison of the C1 and C2 that contradicts your link and says the exact opposite….

I purchased this tv (OLED83C1PTA) from TGG this week for $5755 including delivery in Victoria. I paid using 5% discount gift cards from AAMI/Suncorp. Therefore, total outlay was $5,467.25
