Very low price and excellent value on this keyboard and mouse combo. These have multi-mode connectivity so they can be switched between Bluetooth and 2.4G Wireless with a USB dongle.

The keyboard is a pretty simple slim design with spill resistance and multimedia keys, while the mouse features a 1300 DPI optical sensor.

    excellent value

My general experience with cheap keyboards or mice is they're terrible value. They annoy me at best, or often are unreliable.

I find a good $60 Microsoft wireless set to be much better value. Keys are suitable, wireless is stable, durability is good.

Rapoo are clearing out old stock to make room for new stock. So I simply made sure the price was really low to provide good value as the more normal price would set you back around $40 AU like at Banggood.

Or to put it more simply. A significant discount from RRP to get rid of stock.

      • But it's ali/bg RRP. It's very meaningless.

I wasn't trying to imply directly that rapoo/this is bad. More that anything cheap, even super budget logitech, I find it not good value. Cheap, but not good value.

You'd be surprised to know that Chinese brands do infact control pricing and discounts on websites. But yes it's a significant discount and the quality will not be the same as Logitech or Microsoft. Hence why I tried to get it as low as possible.

    • I have used both Rapoo bluetooth headphones and BT 2.4G mouse. until the battery faid and the 2.4G receiver broke. both last for 3-4year without any issue.

  • Seems to be the same than this but does anyone know if it has internal batteries or take standard AA / AAA? https://www.catch.com.au/product/rapoo-8000m-wireless-compac…

    • +1

They both take a single AA battery. According to the AliExpress listing reviews these should be included.

  • Would this work with a smart TV?

  • +2

    It has Bluetooth so yes.

Becareful buying from Ali, always use PayPal if you can, otherwise they will steal your credit card details. Happened to me before, never again.

Thanks for posting. Got one. It's a great deal for what you get. The fact that it isn't a Microsoft or Logitech shouldn't even need pointing out.
