  Is the DC motor and other parts compliant with Australian standards.? Would there be an issue with insurance coverage in the unlikely event of damage due to motor burnout ?

  I haven't had to have a ceiling fan installed before, so I'm asking: What is the price range to get a ceiling fan like this installed in an apartment where there isn't currently a ceiling fan (so they'll need to drill a hole, deal with wiring, etc.)? I know different electricians will quote different prices, but what would be a good estimate? Also, will they charge by time taken rather than by the job? Thanks.
