    These are great, can recommend

    • +1 Really like mine.

    • Do you use it for running?

      • +1

Yep and it's super comfortable. When music is off I often freak out thinking I dropped it.

The only real downside is the music quality isn't amazing, but that is the least important IMO.

        • The other downside is i lost a paid because they are small and easy to know realise if you're wearing, or not!

          • @bono: What's a paid?

            • @chriise: Sorry, lost a PAIR .. being 1 set of Aeropex

              • @bono: Did they fall off while you were running? Or just lose them at home?

                • +1

@chriise: Took them out one day, and couldn't find them in the weeks after, or ever again. I think I mislaid them somewhere, but they are expensive, small, lightweight and easy to lose in that sense.

I don't think they fell off, they grip pretty well, while still being very comfortable!

I like them so much I just ordered another pair ..

If you're on Android, try Wavelet: headphone specific EQ by pittvandewitt .
They still won't replace good headphones for music listening, but the Aeropex EQ profile is a serious improvement.

I like these for whipper snipping/mowing with earplugs in

    • I just use noise cancelling headset….blocks it all out.
good idea tho, might try it

I got my Aftershokx Air (earlier model) about 3-4 years ago and have never looked back. I still use it every day and more recently I tend to use it for about 2-3 hours a day when I'm out on my walks. The battery life for this older model is still great. With this newer model I'm not that enamored of the magnetic style charger (that replaced the Micro-USB plug in my model) but that is just my personal preference (and fear of ever losing that charging piece).
This also fits well for those who ride (normal and motorcycle helmets).

Not that much of a bargain when you consider the Shokz Open Run (non-Pro) is a more modern iteration and also sells for $219 on Amazon…

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Conduction-Headphones-Bluetooth-Ea…

    • Most definitely not a bargain anymore considering there is a newer model out there as you have correctly pointed out.
Also, Black Friday price was just below $170.

These are great… But I grabbed them during Black Friday sales for $169… So not the best price.

  • have this, recommend this highly.

    • So if you are in a gym working out, and there are songs being played on the speakers in the gym, would these be usable? Just asking as I have never tried these.

      • Yep. If you turn them up loud enough, they can drown out other noise without having to use ear plugs. Definitely a weird sensation

        • Would you still get ear pain of you turn these high as these are not in the ear?

      • if your goal is to drown out other music, this isn’t the right earphone as it was designed to do the exact opposite. they’re great for running or cycling where you want to hear the surrounding noise while still getting surprisingly decently clear music or audiobook.

It is also surprisingly good at video conferencing. Mic quality is the most surprisingly bit, with people reporting they hear me loud and clear and minimal background noise.

Sure you can drown out other sounds by maxxing the vol but its then buzzing with vibrations against your bone, I don’t recommend that. You dont get ear pain but its not exactly a pleasant experience with the vibrations,

        • I used them in the gym this week against the horrible music they blast. Drowned it out just fine

  • I have 2 pairs of these and they have both developed the not uncommon dreaded rattle where the components inside the unit become loose. It can apparently be fixed by drilling a small hole and squeezing in loctite or sugru to lock the components. Some YouTube videos online demonstrating how to do this. Otherwise they are great, I use them for video calls too without having some big set of headphones over my head or the ubiquitous white AirPods sticking out my ears.

    • Yes the rattle seems to be a common issue with this model and I got mine replaced under warranty by the distributor FE Sports. Very happy with their service.

      • Mine has developed the rattle for sometime and had just been living with it. Just today it's stopped charging. Thankfully, I'm still within the 2 year warranty period and looking to go ahead with the RMA.

Just out of curiosity, what's the turn around time for the rma process when you had yours replaced?

        Thanks

  • Use these for hours each day - aeropex. I hope it doesn’t turn out in the future that they cause harm. Can’t go back to regular earphones. Really amazing stuff.

  • What's the battery life on this and do these make any noise at all for example if you are in a quiet carriage or on a quiet bus at night

    • They make as much sound as earbuds. Battery life is decent but you can look it up

      • so full blast pumping sum 41 and edm on the quiet carriage.. others will definitely hear me or no

will it be a nuisance distraction if someone is like in the same carriage as me like that bad if i have the volume quite high like maybe 66%

        • nobody shoould be able to hear unless theyre right next to you. even then, it wont cause a nuisance

          • @belongsinforums: awesome.. sometimes you just need to blast the music to keep the pain and boredom away.. keep myself motivated
