  It appears to be selling at this price every month for about a week, so hardly a bargain…

  You're better off waiting until it drops to 99c again like it did for a few weeks until January…

  So what if it was lower before? Good for you if you picked it up then. Unfortunately there's no time machine to go back so this is for ppl who missed out and were thinking of buying this but didn't do so because of having to pay the full price. It's still a bargain at $3 imo.

  Awesome app, frequently updated by Aussie developer Firemint. Given this is much less than the usual RRP, it's as much bargain as anything else.

  well, for me whether it is a deal or not really depends on how frequently the devs change their price. For this app, there's has been 5 price changes in April; twice in March; twice in February and once in January. This gives an average of ~2 price changes per month (yes i do realise the actual number is 2.5 but you can't have a 0.5 price change now, can you?). So the higher the rate of price change, the higher your chance of snagging it at its lowest price (which in this case, $0.99) sometime soon.

  Ps. The last cycle this app took to go from $0.99 and back again was about 3 months. And the last time this app was at $0.99 was in January. Just saying.

    It's only been 0.99 twice but, and the first time was only for a couple of hours before it went to $1.99 very shortly after. The second time was for a Christmas sale which is a bit of an exception case.

    Probably not enough data to really predict any trends from. I'm sure it will be $0.99 again, but I wouldn't be bold enough to suggest they were due for a sale over what they have on current now.
