That's a targeted offer for previous owners of Fire TV Stick & Basic:

Looks as you are right, I use sometimes FireTV HD ver2, but it is as slow as a hell. Even Prime Video difficult to watch, video all the times frozen for few sec.
Are you sure it's not your internet? I've been using the Amazon Fire stick Lite for a while and it works fine. Not slow as hell and Amazon prime Videos works well ..
@HandsomeMonkey: Not, my mobile broadband is 250-300MBit down and 30-50 up. Probably its faulty hardware.
I think this was targeted specifically at people who have 'lite" versions of the stick to encourage them to upgrade.
It has been $59 many times in the last few months- https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/amazon-fire-tv-stick-4k…
yeah how is this a bargain..
If you have a time machine this wouldn't be a bargain
It's literally on sale for $59 (sometimes less) every few weeks and has been every month multiple times since November as per the link above … just wait a week or two and you'll save money. You don't need a time machine. Simply having some patience and waiting a week or so to get a better deal is all you need to do.
$79 is not a deal nor is $67 per unit when buying two.
FIRETV15 wont work when doing 1
It's not meant to
I bought this for $59 and its been fantastic. Side loaded some apps and been working flawlessly (youtube with no ads, youtube kids and tidal).
There was a lip syncing issues but there was a setting in the audio settings fixed that.
Binge needs to be sideloaded as well, but works well once installed.
Where did you find the APK?
