PS: If you have a Costco Membership, the 2 pack is $209.99 Delivered @ Costco

  • Hmm a quick review check has mixed results - a lot of people say that the units lose connection with each other a bit. Would be interested to see if anyone has used them before or have recommendations for other Wifi 6 mesh networks?

    • I am wanting to know the same thing… I move around the house all day; would be annoying if I have to disconnect/reconnect every time I go closer to a different node.

  • Some OW stores were clearing the Mk63 for $190 last year.

Found the Asus AiMesh pretty solid, had the ac86u and now using the ax86u.

How come the 3 pack costs more per node than the 2 pack? hmm..

  • Do the mesh units work as ethernet bridges as well?

    • Nah there's no ethernet in among nodes.

      • Seems like such a stupid oversight. Being able to hook up your devices to ethernet on the mesh point makes a big difference in speeds, by cutting an unnecessary wireless hop out of the equation.

Seems like I'll be sticking with my first gen Google Wifi for a while yet.

        • yup, there is only ethernet out in each node.

Sure it creates a mesh but mesh works on 2.4ghz which drops the speed either way. I might as well just buy a repeater.

          • @abs898: I bought the mk62 2pk (from Costco deal last week) and hooked the main router up on AP mode (static ip) on wired ethernet (on internet port) to home router (which is configured for dhcp). Powered on satellite and first configured it on wireless as a satellite to main router. Once it got an ip etc from home router, then directly connected to home router. I can see it as a satellite still with connection as “wired” (previously it was wireless).
Doesn’t this mean it’s working with Ethernet backhaul?

@abs898: Dong knows says the ethernet port on the satellite could be used for either attaching a device, or wired backhaul?

The product datasheet also seems to mention ethernet backhaul.

This one is no good, bought 2-pack at JB HIFI for $150 last year, no backhaul and the nighthawk app was terrible. Ended up change to AX3600 tplink mesh, solid connection so far.
