Its a pity there is no Ikea down here as they too have their LADDA brand for $15
Is shopping square the mob that takes forever to deliver the products?
It took 1 week. Their warehouse is 7km from me.
Was about to ask the same thing, I thought it was 80% forever and 20% never?
20% never and mecind got his in a week.
That's fast!
Pre-charged using solar power
wtf?
The batteries come pre charged, and they're noting that they use solar power to do it for anyone concerned about that side of things. Doesn't seem too confusing to me.
Just marketing BS so some people feel a bit better about buying them regardless of any proof of the claim before they get flicked into the bin to go to land fill in a year or two.

What’s a decent mid range charger to go with these? Preferably one that’s doesn’t take all day to charge.
Pretty clueless about chargers, reading charger review articles leaves my head spinning from technical details. Just looking for one that’s decent. Is $70 too expensive? - https://www.protog.com.au/maha-powerex-mh-c401fs-aa-aaa-batt…
I got this one for $99 maybe a decade ago and it still goes great - https://www.lemac.com.au/products/mahapowerexmh-c9000wizardo…
I purchased this charger a few months back. It is brilliant. Charging time is really quick, less than an hour. And it works perfectly with Eneloop batteries.

I use Liito Kala usb. Previously used Nitecore D4.
Only 900-950maH. EBL are 1100maH and better value from $2.00 each on Amazon. I use Xtar VC4 charger, $30 or a VC4S for $40 on eBay. The slower you charge batteries the longer they last.
are they good? any reviews about them from some independent battery expert website ?
It's easy to print any capacity you like on the cell, it doesn't mean it actually delivers any better in the real world.
Reading through the reviews for EBL batteries there are a bunch of 4 and 5 star ratings that read like this:
Don't waste your money. they won't hold a charge and when you recharge they hold less and less charge. Garbage
Update: The sellers contacted me about the battery problem and sent another set out right away. Same problem, told seller and they refunded very quickly. A+++ for the Sellers they did make it right and were willing to go above and beyond for you"
Seems like there's a reason they're cheap.
Eneloops hold celebrity status among us tighta$$es, I mean OzBargainers for good reason, they're excellent quality at a fair price.
Perhaps an alternative will rise in the Eneloop wake but it'll take some serious word of mouth!
got some, thanks OP
$4 for 1 battery is a deal? Lol
My eyes are playing tricks on me for the life of me I just cannot see the mAh rating of this batteries are they 2450 mAh rated or less?
What do people use AAA batteries for ? Remote controls mostly I reckon and Aldi had alkalines for 0.30c each recently. You need to have a real purpose for buying rechargeable AAA batteries at this price.
IKEA Ladda made in Japan by Fujitsu another good choice.
Remote controls mostly - lol, you obviously don't have kids!
I think AAA's are used by sadistic toy makers who could easily fit AA's in their gadgets but hold shares in rechargeable battery companies forcing us to keep a solid collection of AA AND AAA's.
