Hmm $27.25/TB. I'll keep waiting for the magical $25/TB
Why is $25 magical?
It's generally the lowest it goes without a price error. Unfortunately, it feels like for the past decade that's been the limit although HDDs have been getting bigger capacities.
You must have missed this deal. $21/TB
@TomGum: It got almost 300 upvotes because the deal was that good
I need a trigger warning for when anyone mentions price errors.
#WasntMyFault!
still waiting for $2000-$2500 for 100TB
I was tempted. I bought last year black friday for around $445
So at the moment it's still just a little high..as I don't have pressing need might wait and see if it drops a littleSo which drives do these usually contain? Plan to shuck them for use in a QNAP…
Also do I still need to do the 3.3V trick?my power supply supports it from memory tho the drive would rev a bit when nothing was written for a while
