Thanks dealbot! Had $9 balance too which I used towards the 4 tickets I bought!

A surcharge applies for 3D, Vmax, Vpremium, Vjunior and Dolby Atmos sessions.

    C'mon mannnnnn, Vmax really?

    • Anyone know how much the surcharge for Vmax is?

      • I think it's $5.

      • +5

Surcharge is $3 for Village and $5 for Event :)

    • +1

Only if you book online, walk in's don't get it. I should really be the other way around.

      • +1

The mentioned surcharge is for more expensive sessions, not for booking online.

      • +2

Walk-ins dont get the surcharge at all your saying?

        • +16

          Yes. Walkin= no 'surcharge'.

Utterly dumb. Should be the other way about. In England, this was banned by their Consumer Ombudsman. No more online 'surcharges'. So ticket tek, Cinemas, etc, can't charge you for booking online.

          We need that here. Yesterday.

          • +1

@Lord Ra: Are you referring to booking fee or the Vmax surcharge ? I thought Vmax surcharge applied regardless online or walk-in if you are using a normal adult voucher.

            • +1

@Anonymous101: Was a $5 per ticket surcharge, for Vmax. No booking fee, when walkin today, for "The Batman". Westfield Marion

            • +1

@Anonymous101: It's only the booking fee which is not applied when its walk-in, Vmax surcharge is applied for online and walk-in

            • @Anonymous101: @Anonymous101 - Yes, sorry, I was only referring to the online booking BS fee of $1.50 per ticket. SUCH a rip off.

The VMax surcharge of $5 does apply for both, online and walk-in.

  • Amazing deal! Managed to snag a Saturday night session! Thanks.

  • Logging into Shopback account is such a pain! Why do you have to click a million times?
    Get a good UI/UX designer.

    • haha i also get logged out automatically every 2-3 weeks quite annoying

      • Hey @AussieMark, could you send me a DM with a little info?
Could you confirm your account email is still the same, the mobile phone you're using & if you have noticed any patterns (i.e. if you open a specific app, it'll log you out of ShopBack)?

I'd love to pass this info on to our tech team so they can investigate.

        Cheers!

        • Thanks I just figured it was a security thing..I'll check

          • @AussieMark: Thanks mate, keen to hear from you on this :)

It struck fear in his heart.

  • Can you redeem two gold class tickets that sit next to each other ? Thanks

    • +1

Yes, you get individual vouchers and you can redeem multiple vouchers for the same booking. Then you select seats like normal.

      • Awesome thanks

  • Where can I get cheap hoyts tickets without having to keep an optus prepaid sim?

  • +1

What's good about gold class to justify it's normal price of $42? Never been

    • +1

Massive reclining seats, the luxurious transitioning experience while you wait in the lobby and the excuse to overspend on nice food in & out of the cinema.

      It's a once-and-done experience in my opinion.

    • +1

Normal price is tough to justify. But I do find it good to do now and then. The seating is very comfortable, and having a beer or three brought to you spaced throughout the movie is great.
Food is enjoyable, acceptable for the price.

First time I went I hated it. Kids running up and down the aisles (who does this!!?), and they had an issue with my food order and came in three times to talk to me about it, eventually asking to see my receipt. "stop talking, fix it or don't". Took me a while to try again but no issues since.

Anyway for $25 each it's pleasant

  • Can I buy two tickets with two vouchers for the same movie.

    • Yes, you get individual vouchers and you can redeem multiple vouchers for the same booking.

  • +1

I'm getting ticket selection error when I try to use the voucher online…anyone have this?

    • I'm also getting this error

      • working in a pc browser

  • +2

I would not spend a single dollar in Village cinemas after they refused to refund my voucher as it was expired due to pandemic.

    • +2

Write to the CEO. Even if it takes you 50 hours. You will win. I believe in you

    • That's pretty shite

  • Gold Class tickets are sold out

  • I think im going to neg all shopback deals until they track my 30% liquorland, like the do all the small cashbacks

    • +2

Or, you could send me a DM and I can help?

    • +1

He/She has got your back mate!

      • He/She/They*

  • +1

Do you accept NSW Discover vouchers as payment?

    • No, not on our ShopBack app.

  • Any good movie worth watching in cinema?

  • When is this deal ending?

  • Wow what a useless website village cinema has.. they had all the time during the covid to fix their ever lagging, non responsive, not recognising vouchers/GC added etc webiste. All they did is, invest their time in refusing to refund the expired vouchers due to covid of their genuine customers.
