hard to find a good steak knife…
…the good ones are pretty rare

Never well done when you find a good one. 😊

I know it's been mentioned many times.. But these are just fantastic.
Sliced up a pork shoulder roast over the weekend and it's so much easier getting into the nooks to cut off all the meat. Versus a normal bread knive.
      Well worth every dollar imo.

    • Consult with a medium.

These again. These knives ended up costing us over $1000.
Wife sliced off the top of her finger and needed a skin graft.
    Damn sharp knives. 10/10

yeh I nearly did the same with frozen chicken breast went through my nail

      • You tried to cut frozen meat? Why? Why not wait till it's thawed?

    • I swear - everytime I see this deal I tell myself I really need to buy me some. Then I make the mistake of reading the inevitable comments of people slicing their appendages, I cringe and I'm right back where I started….

    • I think the danger is the combination of sharpness with serrations.
I've never hurt myself with a sharp straight knife, but lost skin to these.

So your advice is not to buy I’m guessing and opt for a more blunt instrument?

      • My advice is to treat these knives with the respect they are due.
My wife made the mistake of trying to open a bag of frozen food and proceeded to virtually remove the tip of her left index finger…
They don't look sharp but they are, and the serations make them very effective…
Now I tread very carefully when rummaging around the cutlery draw.

    • Was holding two while washing them.
The blade touched my finger - it didn't even move across my finger; and I ended up with a nice bleedy cut …

Don't try to cut a tomato with it unless you have a not very good friend hold the tomato.

These were $6 a month ago. Waited months between these sales for a maximum buy of 5. Only need 2 more now to complete the neat dozen. I refuse to pay $7 each for the last 2! :-)

Agree. Wake me up when they are $6.

I recall them being something like $tree fiddy on here…. back in the Eneloop craze

About 10 years ago my wuzza at the time convinced me to buy 10 of these from a joint called 'House', because via some sort of weird stacking offer/staff-discount/deal we could get them for about $2.50 each. At the time I thought she was mad, because I'd never seen/used them before and thought the plastic handles were an indication that they were 'cheap crap'. Having now owned my remaining half of them for 10 years, if that deal ever cam up again I would buy 100 of them for $2.50 each.

  • Link for paring knife? Showing up as $9 for me

The accounts of amputations and disfigurement convinced me.
I respect a tool that fights back.
    Bought the maximum 5.

  • I liked it when it was free!

  • WARNING: Don't use these after downing a few frozen margaritas.

  • Make sure to tell everyone in the house when you buy them that these are "(profanity) you sharp". I didnt tell someone and they cut themselves with it.

  • Thanks needed some more brought….

  • love these knives

These are just as good fyi. $22 for 6. Half the price.

  • Usual be about cutting fingers

  • POK has these knives in red for $7, plus postage ($5.50 for me).

The postage is slightly cheaper and there's no minimum order.

  • Buy these and send to Ukraine. More lethal than any rifles, according to my kitchen.
