Looks to be a great basic turntable with an inbuilt phono amp, USB out and Bluetooth (not sure what version).

Reviews are positive and this is the cheapest Amazon price since about July last year. $10 off an all time Amazon low. $399 in the shops.

    If you're not going too deep into Hi-Fi, just grab some of the Edifier ones that crop up on OzB pretty frequently. They're great because they don't need an amplifier. While I haven't heard them, I doubt they're too bad for the price.

    If you're starting to enter into the world of Hi-Fi… Grab yourself a second hand receiver or integrated amplifier, and some second hand speakers. Ideally from someone who does refurbishing near you (I can point you to one in Brisbane?). From here you can upgrade stuff piece by piece.

    I don't know who negged you, but putting a comparison to an adjustable and adaptable good quality turntable to put this limited and vendor-locked fashion accessory was a service to anyone considering getting one.

  I've found Sony make great products - with proprietary accessories such as tone-arms that only accept the Sony cartridge, or players/earphones that need a Sony app to populate or edit - which they then walk away from within the next few [>5] years.

  A once great company that has tried emulating Apple, only without the nous or vision.

    This turntable uses a standard Audio Technica AT3600L cartridge and ATN3600 stylus. The cartridge isn't easily user replaceable, but the stylus is.
