Ah forgot that, I'm Sydney base so it's not a problem.

  • Inno3D? C'mon bro.

    • +2

At least it's not mini lol

      • Was that meant to be a euphamism?

  • +3

It's still cheaper to get the gigabyte from ebay right now

    • That's with eBay Plus. Not everyone bother with eBay Plus.

      • +4

Fair enough but it's still cheaper to sign up for a month and buy that over this

      • You can easily make a new account and use a prepaid or virtual cc to sign up for trial.

One of the cool things about this card is that it's a true two slot card, which can matter to some people with unusual cases (or who are rocking matx and need access to the third pcie slot).

    Definitely not a great price.
    I'll leave this here.

    RTX3070 AUS MSRP $809
    RTX3080 AUS MSRP $1,139
    RTX3090 AUS MSRP $2,429

RTX 4000 GPU's out in September.

    • +4

You do realise this is a 3070 TI right?

As best I can tell the RRP for this is around the $1k mark

Looking back through past deals I'm pretty sure it's the cheapest it's ever been.

Not saying it won't get cheaper but to call this "not a great price" is a bit rich.

        RTX3070Ti AUS MSRP $959
        "great price"

+1 vote for telling it how it is

GPUs are still way over priced. This is an ok deal

Keep calling out the BS and don't accept Inflation

what starts with 'H' and ends with 'ODL'

Pretty sure most are HODLing. There are only 305 clicks right now. If this was couple of months back, there would be over 2K clicks on the link and would have been sold out by now.

      • -1

Most gamers already bought their beloved card, only very few HODLers here. Miners already mined their heart out and start offloading their constantly ab-used GPU on ebay and gumtree.

        • +2

          I disagree completely.

most gamers can see the prices have been regularly falling for a few months now…. and they are the ones that'll happily wait a few more months with the savings on offer. miners on the other hand, will keep overpaying because they are looking at cost/benefit.

there are stacks of people HODLing… here and other forums.

unless you NEED a card today because your current one died and you can't handle any wait time, you'd be mad to buy now.
hundreds of dollars discount over the next few months.

          • @UFO: He will come back and say you can mine to make that money back. It is logical correct what he is saying. It has 2 side effects though.
            1) If everybody got cards thinking they could mine some money back, It will make the cards SO expensive again to a level where even entrylevel cards will start becoming over 2K
            2) Its a waste of electricity to a cause thats useless at best. Not everyone knows or wants to mine. It will slightly reduce the life of the card.

        • I dont understand why they are called abused. Most mined GPU should work fine. Just like servers which run 24X7. Yes the hardware is stressed, but in most cases, if the price is right, its worth the risk. I got my GTX1080 for 1/2 the price of RRP. It was so abused that the heatsink was oxidised - probably run without AC somewhere in China. Even today (touchwood) it easily boosts above 2GHz just fine. I have replaced the stock fans(as they were worn out) with 120mm arctic cabinet fans and some good quality thermal pads and it works just fine. Technically even though they are run 24X7, most miners adjust the frequency voltage curve so that they run it the coolest with maxium hashrate for given electricity.

  • 3070Ti prices gap now closing up with 3060Ti, looks like a better buy now

  • I hope Intel Arc will be released in a few more weeks.

    • Its delayed. Intel is lying as usual. Maybe Q3

  • the 3070 and/or 3070Ti is a much better buy over the 3060Ti but its longevity with 'ONLY' 8gb GDDRx is a tough ask as @4k 8gb isnt enough and thats why nVidia have a 12gb GDDRx 3070Ti/2 ready to go in wharehouses sinces xmas but when Intels GPU has been a noshow, the used the oppertunity to start flooding the market with still overpriced 2060/3060/3070/3080&3090/Ti and have Ive heard about 4million units to shift before the last HURAH! and the last round of memory and clock speed OC cards that will be around when the 4XXX/6XXX series are launched…. What most dont know or realise is your current PSU isnt capable of the new 600w GPU 16pin pcie5.0 standard, so you will need a new (1200w+) as well as a new, nextgen GPU.

So the new 3070Ti with 12gb gddrx will be to counter the Intel GPU with its reported 3070 speeds (and may cost $300-400) so expect some competition soon Im hoping as this card will be like the old 1080Ti with a nice 4k DLSS/RTX lifespan @ im guessing around the $600-800 mark and it will work with your 650W/PSU! Put this in any 10th/11th/12th gen rig or AMD 5000 series for a nice 2-3 years of perfectly good gaming!
