A new shop just opened opposite of Marrickville Pork Rolls behind Customs House Library at Circular Quay. I asked how much the price was and they said everything was free. Fancy pastries. Owned by the same people as the Grana restaurant next door. Probably won't last long.

  Free on the first day is pretty normal. Generates hype/attention and lets people sample the product, so they come back later and pay for more.
