Just pop down to 7 Eleven to recharge my $10 Telstra Sim, but instead bought this (it's cheaper!) and ported my number through in under 10min (via online website activation).

so far so good .. except for FB is very slow :(
That's because of Optus' flaky data service. Should have stayed with Telstra since their encore prepaid cap plan is more decent now :/
Does Optus recharge works for Woolworth prepaid?
Why wouldn't you go to LiveConnected instead?
Or even TPG. They all use the Optus network and are a hell of a lot cheaper.

Guys, remember to check the back for the EXPIRY DATE!!!! I went and bought one this arvo and realised it was expired April 2012. Took it back, the store guy looked at the rest of them, and they were all expired. =|
The signage in my 7-11 says this deal expires 30/5 (instead of 7/5 above).
I bought 2 of these for my kids last week. It came with $30 dollars worth of credit as well. BARGAIN !
