Largest cashback I've seen for Booking.com.
Starts 9AM AEDT today, don't jump the gun!
Of note, a property I was looking for had a 5% discount without clicking through cashback sites but no discount with. Still, net 10% gain!

$30 for referrer, $5 for referee after referee qualifies.
Qualifying requirements for referee: 1. Made a minimum $20 online purchase (below exclusions apply), 2. Received a minimum $10 confirmed cashback online, 3. Added banking details to account.
Users will need to fulfil the referral criteria within 180 days from referee's sign-up date to unlock cashback. See all terms
I agree with clear - prices increase when you use cashback, so it's potentially of no value. If you do get cheaper pries overall then go for it though
I checked a property a few weeks ago on booking.com on two browsers
One with no cashrewards login - $X
One with cashrewards logged in - cost $X + exact cashback amount more
EDIT: as far as I'm concerned if this dodgy pricing is consistent long term then Booking.com cashback deals shouldn't be allowed
Yeah I was very surprised that they're allowed to just artificially make listings more expensive if you're trying to use cashback.
It is lame.
Booking mobile app eligible?
If you get the 10% off with the bws cooler thing it's also the same thing. Prices are exactly 10% more when you go through to use the code.
Can you just claim the difference / money back on Booking price match guarantee? Albeit a pain in the arse
Cash back offer live, but it's for 12% instead of 15% - what manner of shady shit is this!?
Edit: lol, now they've changed the promo tile on the homepage to say 12%
It shows 15% on the ShopBack app front page, but when I click through it says 12%???
Well I went ahead and booked as mine was same price as yesterday searching directly on Booking.com. Hoping to get 15% 🤞
It says 12%, not 15%
They've changed it, despite advertising the hell out of it at 15% (literally just got an email from Shopback saying it's 15% as well)
Where did you get this information?
Here's the email I just received. https://ibb.co/vLp2rjL
Subject line: Travel Bonanza: Booking.com 15% Cashback + More to Come!
Says 15 now
Is $59 back on $480 booking right? I make it $65 on a pre GST price of $436?
Is it capped??
It has been completely fine for me. price not jacked, infact dropped another 10% when i logged into my account… Clicked through and made the booking
and there was a $50 bonus as well! YMMV
Same here. I checked a property last night and it was 5% more expensive compared to today. Plus the 15% cashback = 20% of savings. Very happy!
Didnt get the $50 bonus, but hotel was $270 last night and $270 this morning but when I went to book it this afternoon, came down to $230 so not all bad with shopback!
Yikes, they price jacked by $83 overnight on a $500 room. So clearly they're price jacking
Does anyone know if you need to pay in full to get the 15% cashback? or can you reserve and pay at reception and still get 15% CB?
You can just reserve which is better because you don’t get the cashback until 120 days after your stay.
Agoda is also increasing price when using cashback
Dodgy practice to price jack during these deals.
Same property, same period rate jacked up by 25% in 2 days
A place I tried booking through for 2 days stay.
$585 through Bookings.com normally
$636 when clicking through the link for Shopback
Dodgy
Just loaded a room in QLD 5 nights in December.
1293 without shopback,
1403 with shopback…
This must be illegal
Just saw that shopback increased Agoda's cashback to 17%. But as above, it is borderline scam.
Clicked through and a property increased by 15%. The countless 10% vouchers won from BWS on Tapp are better value.
