          KontrolFreek. I currently use one Inferno on the right stick. Another option would be Galaxy with mid rise on left and high rise on right or Omni with both low rise.

      Similar history, although I do play on PC too.

      As I'm getting older and have less time to play, I really like the GamePass (I got to try on PC for 3 months.)

      Access to a massive library vs 2-4 games per month.

      Using the methods on OzBargain, it costs similar to a discounted PS+ annual subscription.

      Definitely tempted to get an XBOX this gen, only thing I will miss, is probably Naughty Dog games.

      So hard to get a PS5 atm so will have to wait a few more years and will grab as I still prefer Trophies over Achievements

      If you need a suggestion, I bought 1 today through Vodafone, 3-year plan $20 pm. ATM 1 month waiting which is not too bad.

      Have both for last gen and this gen. They both have their pros and cons. GamePass is amazing value.

      Both camps still have room to improve. Microsoft needs to stop releasing first party exclusives on GamePass in a state that can feel like beta testing at times. Losing progress and having to replay is not fun. QuickResume could be a little bit glitchy for games which needs Internet. Microsoft really should stop updating some of their apps so often. When I had Series X initially, the OS felt snappy, but it starts to feel a bit laggy from time to time now. Microsoft, could you please remove that annoying external CFastExpress SSD storage device check, just let us use any SSD (or drop the price of those Seagate cards to 50% of what they currently are).

      Sony, the annoying PS4 vs PS5 version, physical vs digital version. No upgrade for PS Plus version of games and then a change of mind from Sony (which caused a mess). Games are too expensive. Can we have support for multiple external USB storage devices? It's dumb to have to copy the data to internal SSD or m.2 SSD in order to transfer games from one USB HDD/SSD to another one.

      It's good that there is competition.

      Definitely keep, PS5 is also great and you get the best of both worlds.

      If a game runs between on one console vs another.
      Plus there are console exclusives on both consoles you'll want to grab.

        What's your problem with people preferring an Xbox? How does this affect you personally?

        Stop attacking people because they have a preference that is different to your own.

        For the record I have both consoles, and use my Xbox more playing Forza Horizon 4 and 5 while waiting for more AAA exclusive titles on PS5, namely GT7.

    Gave up waiting for a sensible GPU pricing so got an Xbox last week.

    Loving it so far, games are blowing me away compared to what I could put out on my old GTX1070.

      You probably would have been better off getting a new GPU. Even the gtx3050 would give you better performance than an XBOX.

          Upgrading existing machine with gtx3050, will cost you 450. You get better performance at a cost. But obviously the assumption is your motherboard already supports the newer GPU.

            @pompompom: Hours upon hours of troubleshooting and/or tweaking graphics settings, opposed to just sitting down, pressing a controller button and away you go.

            I own a few decent gaming PCs but nothing beats the simplicity of spooling up a console gaming (especially digital titles)

            @pompompom: A GTX3050 is weaker than the GPU in the XSX. The XSX has a GPU similar to a down clocked 6700XT. Fancy trying to compare a GTX 3050 to that. Whats with the clowns commenting on this deal?

        Give your BS charade a rest, I did my research and nothing came close to performance & price at current market price from PC parts vs Xbox.

        An RTX 3050 costs around $600 so if you can find a CPU, PSU, RAM, Case, MB, 1TB SSD and peripherals for $150 I'm all ears.

        If I'm going to game on PC I want the best experience, which is a 3080 or better and I'm not going to pay current prices when I can get more than acceptable performance at 1/3 the price.

        Maybe next year if GPU prices are better I'll go back to PC, but right now Xbox is the best option.

        You can pay the $200 deposit and trade in the console later instore to knock some off the final cost. Not sure how much you'll get taken off though, but it'll be a couple hundred at least.

      I bought it new from Target for $248 on sale some (also) 5 years earlier

        Playstation 5 drops today screwing up and ended super quickly. Or some people couldn't get it when they got on page early but then others refreshed non stop and got it 8-10 minutes later.

        Rubbish big w check out system. EB games seem to have the best chance of getting the consoles as a person and not a bot.

    Always bought both. Last year I went with ps5 only. I will get an xbox when the inevitable upgrade comes out. They're too similar in performance for me to feel compelled to make the jump right now. Subscriptions and running costs ain't what it used to be. Buying hard drives is a thing now too.
    Xbox looks cool but I love my ps5, if nothing else the controllers and more pure business model. Don't like the rent a game focus. But that's just me.

Also, there is tier system in play for Forza games. Sure, you can ignore those micro-transaction ads Microsoft throws at you in game. However, some of them do offer quality of life improvements.

        Will this tier system continue as new, future Bethesda and Activision games get put on GamePass? Most people don't complain about that and Phil Spencer has hinted tier level services for GamePass 2 years ago. Bethesda and Activision will completely go microtransactions free in the future, for online games? That's wishful thinking.

        I have purchased games for Series X so GamePass alone isn't enough for me. Also, some of those fps boost Microsoft did for some older 3rd party games, can't Microsoft do the same to Forza Horizon 3? Or, since the game is EOL'ed, zero improvement (but some of those fps boosts Microsoft did are for really old games).

          Yeah I own a few games also, I bought Forza 3 because it is set in Australia. Nothing is perfect, Netflix wouldn't have competitors if it was but it's great to have the option to use the service (which is awesome) rather than purchasing everything we want to play or watch.

          No Forza game has microtransactions, not sure where you got that from and on the point about it being a beta, all games now are updated often this is normal.

          Phil Spencer has publicy said all 1st party titles will come to Game Pass, Bethesda and soon Activision will be 1st party so yes they will come to game pass. Starfield from Bethesda is a single player only that costs $99.95 or is on Game Pass and won't include microtransactions
