its around $100 cheaper than 6 months ago. i personally would wait for 7000 series, which should come this year.
Imagine the inflation on the 7000 series, i wouldn't rely on normality any time soon.
Forgive me for my ignorance, but what is stopping the 7000 series to shoot up in price the same way it did for the 6000 series and RTX 3000 series?
I'm sure stock will be a lot better compared to the 6000 series, but I don't think it will be come even close to 6000 prices and will be much higher as we're seen?
At least you might be able to get in early before that happens.
@Jenny Death: Pretty sure the only way to get a 30xx card for 6 months after release was in prebuilds or scalpers.
It's almost at RRP if another 150 or so cheaper
so we gonna see MSRP again soon if this keeps dropping
If you prefer team green MSI 3070 ti Ventus 3x for $1275
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MSI-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX3070Ti-VEN…It’s nearly March. You’re honestly better off waiting for RDNA3 which has been confirmed to come out this year.

Defiantly wait, the flood of high end cards from the mining extravaganza wont be to far away coupled with new gen landing, these cards will halve in price over next 15 months I am tipping. But should be 30% lower within 5 months, the more people hold out the quicker they will drop in price, lets let inventories stack up at retail/wholesale level so they have to adjust wholesale pricing down.
I saw a laptop with a 3070 selling for way less than a standalone card, fair enough they are weaker cards but it comes with a laptop lol. What a joke crypto has made of pc gaming, at least we havnt missed anything with titles like bf2042 taking the piss equally. Still using my ancient 290s to game on 1080 with decent frames on lower settings, refuse to pay these prices however its good to see them improving for those that need them.
the only flaw in your logic is if the crypto bull run isn't yet over
and by all indications it isn't, don't let the short term volatility fool you
don't get me wrong, i'd love to pay a decent price for a GPU but unless there is enough supply from manufacturers to make an impact we could be witnessing just a very small window to get your hands onto something that is half way decent value
Wow that's pretty good no?
