how does this compare to Meguiar's Hybrid wax?
I wasn't overly impressed with Bowden's"happy ending"…
giggle.I bought that's cause it was cheap on the last deal.
Bead Machine is better than "happy ending", last much longer but takes more time to apply. I have not tried Meguiar's Hybrid wax to compare.
Curious what you didn't like about happy ending. Anyway, this is superior to megs but then so is happy ending.
Oh .. I thought it was tyre/rim beads .. guess not
Yes I would like a bread machine
Got a bottle of Bowdens "Far Cough", good to wipe down the interior when you've had some grubby kids or potential covid carriers in car.
How much did you get it for?
I usually use BO Lazy Wax, yesterday I tried Turtle Hybrid Wax - OMG the paint work feels so smooth, almost looking forward to the next rain to see the beading performance.
TLDR, try a hybrid wax.
I have tried everything and the best would be Turtle Wax Seal & Shine. Don't waste your money on Bowdens products. But if you want the best. NV Lustre, Jet and Boost is all you need
Can you recommend a good polish from SCA? Got some credit to use, Nu finish caught my eye but I dunno if that's a gimmick lol
Meguiars Ultimate compound is good and polish after
Some links for these bad boys please?
This any good for alloy wheels to reduce brake dust build up?
I found it good, definitely less brake dust and easier to clean but doing prep is important.
this product is apart of a process and really doesn't work that well when the prep work isn't done. It's an every 4/6 months kind of product in my opinion.
Afterglow is thier best drying agent and works extremely well when used with this.
I don't think of any consumer product to realistically last more than 4/6 months especially when the prep work isn't done. Have you had more success with other products?
i don't think so, I'd like to try the chemical guys
I think 4/6 months is a success for an easy to apply consumer product. As I remember Bowden's Own does not even promise as much.
On a semi related note…
Does something like this need to be applied every wash?

Bead Machine is Bowden's best sealant, but like every other spray on wipe off products it takes time to do the whole car and hard to coat every surface. Happy Endings however can be applied to the whole car in 2 minutes and gives you months of protection … as long as you have a pressure washer to apply it.
I use BO Wet Dreams and it's fantastic. Takes no time to apply on wet panels, and simply hose off.
I think it's the better sealant Bowden's Own have, it outperformed other products in the test by Evolved Details https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg41khybg1Q
