The amount spelling mistakes on your website makes me hesitant to buy from you.

We had sold more than 1000 sims through ozbargain Ads. Please check our other posts in ozbargin for customer reviews

      • Which is a pity because with that much sales one would think to spend a few minutes to fixup the mistake. Imaging the extra credibility it gives to your site.

It's Chinglish. You'd be lucky to speak a second language as well. Let it through to the keeper, and move on

      • I've bought from them twice, no issues.

    • I bought from them last sale. Great savings in my opinion.

    • +4

      umm, the irony!

    • I can confirm all is ok. Bought a 12 month Telstra Sim from this seller. Paid for express and it arrived in a couple of days. No issues switching from Boost using this. Cheers

The amount spelling mistakes on your website makes me hesitant to buy from you.

You demand a bargain, but only from someone who speaks perfect English?
You're going to miss out on a lot of good things with that attitude.

  • $113 for Telstra prepaid that lasts 12 months with unlimited calls and supports esim? Pretty pretty good.

    • +4

that one looks like for 6 months

      • +2

Oh, thanks for the heads up. That sux.

        • Telstra $150 sim is for 6 month

boost $200 sim which we run special for $151 is for 12 month.

  • The promo code in the description is wrong mate.
    Its Bonus not Bounus.
    Cheers.

    • Thanks, corrected it. copy pasted in a hurry.

  • Is there any advantage to Telstra vs Boost? I think both are 4g only?

    • Esim conversion and Volte WiFi calling instead of VOIP.

Both important factors to me, personally.

      • +4

Boost supports VoLTE and Wifi calling, so that's not an advantage to Telstra.

        • -5

I meant VoLTE while wifi calling. Boost only has VOIP during wifi calling.

That's what the tech guy said anyway

    • IMHO, I don't see any advantage getting a Telstra over a Boost unless Boost coverage is not as good as Telstra in your area. And if you're collecting Telstra Point. There's a lot of advantage getting a Boost over a Telstra though…

      • +1

unless Boost coverage is not as good as Telstra in your area

That's not possible unless you are talking about 5G, in that case Boost has 0 5G coverage.

Boost's 4G coverage is identical to Telstra.

        • +2

          coverage is about the same.
          Thus we suggested:
You need more data, go for boost $300
You want esim go for telstra 300
You don't need much data, go for boost $200

All our Boost and Telstra longlife sims have same discount rate, which is 24.5% off this moment.

          • +1

            @simonline: On 4G and 3G,

            coverage is about the same

            There. Fixed it for you.

Tested in Boulia, Burketown, Camooweal, Bedourie and Lockhart River in the last 2 weeks…

          • @simonline: Regarding telstra 300 from telstra, can I use one physical card on a samsung mobile while using same number esim on the apple watch?

  • +1

Does the Telstra 12month prepaid include 5g!

    Thanks so much

    • Wanting to know know this one too!

      • +2

Based on their website, No. Only $60 prepaid plan has the 5G, all the rest are 4G.

        • +1

For new activations, only $60 prepaid has 5G. Those who had 5G with old telstra prepaid plan will be able to keep 5G

    • No.

  • If you are currently telstra or boost customer, you need may want the vodafone 30$ sim to port out and port in.

FTFY. No need to port in and out. You can move directly from Boost to Telstra and vice versa although some people do advise porting in and out via a different MNO to avoid issues with conflicting billing systems.

    • Yeap, some customers chat via boost/telstra customer care to do this.

What I understand how the customer care will help to do is:

      1. activate the new sim card and get a new number
      2. deactivate your existing telstra/boost number
      3. Change the new number to your deactivated existing number.

Risk is step 2, after deactivate your existing number, the number may not go back to telstra system instantly. especially if your number originally not belongs to telstra.

        • That comment applies to going from Boost to Telstra or vice versa. OP is probably referring to using these packs as recharge on the same network, that either requires chat with support or port out.

          • @fifoo: Ah, I'm following now. Thanks.

      • Hi, how much is the vodafone 30$? I might need one very soon. Is it $22.65 for one? Cheera

        • if you buy long life sim and add a vodafone 30$, we charges $3.8, which about around 88% off.

      • How about current Belong customer, shall I use Vodaphone to port out and port in for this deal?

  • Will you ever sell the yearly Optus Pre-Paid starter packs at a discount?

    • Not this year. we used to have an Optus store which we sold to someone else.
On sales agreement we won't sell any Optus products for 3 years.
We do have Lebara. However, as we notice one of the Sydney boost seller works as a manager in Lebara, we just not list Lebara sims on our website to avoid potential troubles.PM me if you are interested.

  • Does anyone know if there is a way to get a discount on a telstra 6/12 month recharge that doesn't involve porting out?

    • see my answers above.

  • The port out and back in as an already Boost customer, does it got any time limit in between? Or I can just out & in immediately? Hope not like Kogan need to wait at least 30 days before going back.

Also in your description here for $200 sim it said 'Expires 2022 Oct' but on your webpage is 'Activate before 08/2023' so which one is correct ???

    • We suggest you use a few days. the vodafone $30 starter kit which included (for extra $3.8) can be used for up to 28 days and have 40gb of data.

I'd checked with my boss, the $200 sims are new stock which expires in Aug 2023. I'd changed the Ads

      • Thx for your clarifications, as my current Boost not expire till May, hence need to know the expiry activation date on these ones before I buy. Cheers!

  • Good timing both me and my wife's boost needed port out and back in… Thanks OP.

  • Can you receive sms’s internationally with the Telstra one?

    • Not this moment, but I am pretty sure it will be added in a few month time.

  • Thanks. Ordered :)

  • Thanks. Ordered two Telstra $300 sims. :)

  • No retail store and no “instant” online processing of the payments - perhaps they use an old process of collecting credit card details then processing off-line? Not secure.

    • I just ordered one using PayPal?

    • I don't know what you are talking about. we use Square and paypal, which are the biggist payment processing companies in the world. we don't collect credid card ourselfs. information.

  • Hey OP, I forgot to apply the code when I checked out, is it possible to cancel the order or somehow apply the code?

    • PM me your order number, I will have you sourt this out.

  • Anyone else had issues getting e-sim from Telstra?

    • +1

We have esim which can help you. PM your email we can send you an esim code, then after you register mytelstra, you can DIY yourself.

      • I ended up contacting their support which advised they couldn't do it due to a technical issue.

Activated physical sim, then logged into the app and just hit e-sim, it was actually kind of ridiculous.

  • Recieved my two Telstra SIMS in Perth. Thank you!

  • Just a few questions regarding these sims, is it possible to port in my number from vodaphone? am i able to access the 5G network with these sims (I do have a 5G compatible phone). If I happen to run out of data, can I top-up and is there any site where I can see how much topping up costs?

  • 5g doesn work. yes you can port from vodafone. top up quite expensive I assume, sth like 10$ per gp, but you can recharge 30$ for a month or what ever I think.

  • Does the Telstra $300 include roaming and international texts?

  • Does anyone know if you can port from Telstra Prepaid to Boost?

  • This is the first time I'm opting for pre-paid can someone please help.
If I'm with Telstra post-paid now, can I get a Telstra starter pre-paid kit without having to port out to eg Vodafone? Thanks

  • Originally ordered a Telstra SIM, but immediately changed my mind and asked for a Boost SIM. They were happy to do this and the SIM came pretty quickly. They said I would get a refund, but after around six weeks and several ignored emails I still haven't received it.

    • What's your order number. Has it solved, pm me please if not.

  • This arrived really quick, ordered it and it was in my mailbox the next afternoon, cheers guys

    • Maybe quick in MEL, I am in Sydney and have waited a week, no luck.

Now I tried to contact them, never pick the phone, no response from the e-mail.

      Terrible service!
