god i hate this shit so much

        • +4

I don't think you have to book online do you?

If you book at the ticket counter you don't have to pay any fees

          • +13

@harthagan: Yeah, it's a load of BS though. They know it's not worth someone driving there to make a booking, and if you "book" as you arrive for the movie you risk getting super crappy seats or missing out all together.

            • +3

@Binchicken22: True, it doesn't work if you want to go for a popular movie/session. I've checked online and seen that most seats are still available a few hours before the session and then in that case I'll just show up and take my chances.

            • @Binchicken22: I think it's actually almost impossible to book in person.

I've had gold class tickets since last year that we haven't used because not only do they barely seem to run gold class sessions these days they all book out really quickly.

So you are basically forced to pay extra.

    • +1

      Agree. Corrupting minds.

      • Aweed

        • Out of all the things wrong with the world today it's hardly up there. The odd violent movie pales in comparison to the countless hours kids and adults burn on tiktok and instagram, going further down rabbit holes and developing more extreme views (watch The Social Dillema).

Watching a 3 hour movie at a cinema with a few friends is much less damaging. More of that please.

    • +4

      Lol seriously. Grow up.

    • Then you should watch more of such movies to strengthen your mind.

    • +1

      Username checks out

  • +2

Wow child tickets are even more expensive than the adult ones in this case :)

    • +1

Was wondering can a child use an adult ticket?

      • Yes, they can.

  • Neat Idea!

  • +2

Whats the difference between unrestricted and restricted gold ?

    • One has restrictions…. The other doesn’t.

      • +1

        Ouch. Harsh.

  • I get a 'Access to westpacextras.neatideas.com.au was denied' when trying to access my cart. Anyone else have this issue or is it my VPN causing issues?

  • Hi all,

Getting the message "Invalid promo code" when entering the voucher number and PIN. Entering it in the "Gift card" box when choosing the payment method, unsure if this is the correct way to redeem the voucher. Can someone help me out please?

    • I hope you are not redeeming for a 4DX movie session :)

      • Nope, just a regular saver session =(

        • +1

Sorry didn’t read your first comment properly. You have to enter the code where it says ‘Want to use a voucher?’

This step is before payment and gift card section.

          • @ozb oioioi: Ah bless you kind stranger! Worked =)

            Many thanks!

            • +1

@Vertex: Are you guys using Events or Village? I'm on Events and it's saying the voucher is "not valid" on the Tickets screen and the Payment screen :( I bought 6 tickets and none are working

              • @alisoncct: I used events, you have to enter the vouchers at the top on the screen where you are picking the ticket type (Adult, Concession, Pensioner etc.). Hope this helps!

  • +4

Looks like this deal is also available via
    RACV member benefits

  • +1

I'm in Geelong. Why exactly are we excluded from this deal? hmmmm

    • I think you know the reason

  • Currently unavailable, Due to the popularity and high demand we are currently awaiting more stock. The promotion will continue from 14/02.

    • +1

      I got the same message.

    • from 3 days ago? lolwot

    • Updated now to say "The promotion will continue from 18/02". May be fixed by tomorrow for those interested.

  • +1

It's saying they're all out of Gold Class tickets and are awaiting more stock. But seems you can still purchase regular tickets.

  • by the time i checkout the qty keeps changing! anyone?

  • +1

Op says "Valid nationwide at Event, Greater Union, BCC and Village cinemas (excludes VIC regional areas)". That's not strictly correct with regards to all VIC regional areas..

T&C says "Not valid at Rosebud, Sorrento, Warragul, Warrnambool, Moonlight Cinemas or Skyline Drive In".

So the offer is valid at the following Village VIC regional areas: Geelong, Bendigo, Morewell and Shep.

    • +1

Thanks, I took the terms straight from the site and it's a bit conflicted. I'm guessing the first line means excludes selected VIC regional areas.

  • Hi Davebern,

Is there a link to T&Cs…

    -Phil

  • Thanks OP!

  • There is no Events or Village Cinemas in Canebrra?

  • +1

Just used some of these today. The VMax surcharge was $5, but it would not allow an upgrade to a VMax recliner.

  • Can you get vmax with the $9.50 one or is it extra on top or not possible at all?

    • You can pay an extra $5.00 surcharge (on top of the $9.50) to upgrade to VMax (+$1.50 booking fee if you book online). However, I could not upgrade to a VMax recliner. In my local cinema, they have VMax recliners at the front, and standard VMax seats (which are still pretty comfy) at the back.

  • +1

    Hi Davebern,

Appreciate it. Purchased and they do work for Geelong..

  • If you are a Village Cinema member - you will get 80 points per ticket

As originally the tickets where purchased for $8

  • Thank-you, worked fine.

  • +1

Thank you mate! Worked like a charm. Well done

  • is the neat webpage down or ended?

    • Still working fine here. Are you on a VPN or anything that may affect the page loading?

      • Hmm. i can load the page fine but when it goes to login or my account or payment cart - it says Access to westpacextras.neatideas.com.au was denied You don't have authorisation to view this page.

  • Getting "Invalid VoucherThe voucher code or pin was not valid." when trying to claim with Village

It is mentioned in multiple places I should have a 4 digit pin, but it is only 3 digit, not sure what I am doing wrong? =/

    • +1

Both vouchers I have purchased from either neat tickets and village directly had 3 digit pin that were validly claimed and used

  • +2

    Tickets are now $8.80!

  • For those who purchased this deal and live in Victoria do you reckon we can claim cash back through the Victorian Dining and Entertainment program launched on 29th of March?

    Thanks

    • Also I did not receive a recipet from Neat Tickets; I just recieved the tickets voucher did anyone else had the same experience?
