Not even on sale, god I hate these fake sales

      • From the same seller too…

Seems counter-intuitive that their direct website item price is more expensive than the price Froothie is selling it at via a third-party platform.

Please don't pay 400% of OEM prices just for a brand when the no-brands on Ebay, Kogan and Aliexpress at $99 does it just as well! I've had 2 no brands that have lasted for years and years and so have many others.

Of course, if you've got way too much $ to burn then go ahead.

    • too much $ to burn blend then go ahead.

      FTFY

These are people sold on the idea that 1000W is required to mash fruit and that doing so makes it healthier.

      • @Diji1 I think most people who buy 1000W blenders are doing so not to blend fruits which is easy, but for the high rpm friction heat that these are capable of, which can make for some really nice soup where you blend nuts, vegs etc etc together which normal blenders can't do. If all you want to do is blend fruits, just get a kmart cheapie which would do nicely.

We've had the Kogan Vitablast 1400W since 2015, it's been problem-free and blends ice, fruit, nuts, soups etc. without issue. Will buy one again when ours dies (the current model is 2000W and $95).

Would rather a Vitamix for this price

    • Yer. About $468 and a reputable brand.

    • -2

Vitamix has got nothing on the froothie. These things are pretty solid.

      • +1

You must have gotten a bad Vitamix. Optimum is basal quality chiesium

    • @bargainsniper Vitamix is also just a brand which USED to be innovative. I believe they carried the patent 20-25 years ago for high rpm blenders, but have not made any significant innovation since and have been just living off their brand name now. Their patent has expired which is why you find all kinds of OEM makers essentially using and building on the Vitamix patent of 20 years ago. The fundamental principle is quite straightforward for a blender, so it's not hard to get it right.

  • These are good blenders. My wife bought one (9400 I think) and I thought it was expensive for a blender but I must admit that it blends things so much smoother than the previous $100ish AliExpress one ever did (burnt out), the Breville (still going but average results) or the Nutribullet (average results and burnt out). This shop's customer service is good too, it's been a year since we bought it and they emailed asking us if we're still happy with it and to contact them if any issues. My wife's friend has a Vitamix brand one and apparently they get very similar results. No idea whether this is a good price or not though, I think they have sales regularly.

  • I use this brand, the brushes wear out after a few years of blending frozen fruit, they are easily replaceable, I wouldn't pay $400 for it though, bought my last few from gumtree for like $100-200

  • +1

I believe their "sales" last for about 365 days.

Nevertheless, it's still a good blender. I have one of the higher models, and it doesn't even blink at stuff my old blender would burst into tears at.

  • You can get the same blender without the branding for 1/3 the price on eBay. This company is really horrible they just trying to prove gouge aussies
