- HDMI AB Switch can be used in two different ways:
HDMI switch mode: connect 2 input sources to 1 output display.
HDMI splitter mode: connect 1 input source to 2 displays (Only 1 screen works at a time, not simultaneously). - To recommend using not exceed 1.5meter certified premium HDMI 2.0 cables to obtain 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, such as the standard AWG 28 HDMI 2.0 18Gbps cables. If the cable is too long or too poor quality, sometimes the pictures will be flickering. When occurs flickering, you can try to lower the resolution to 4K 60Hz 4:2:0.
- When connecting PS5 or Xbox series x, please lower their resolutions to 4K 60Hz and make sure the output monitor supports 4K 60Hz and is compatible with PS5 or Xbox series x.
- HDR only works if both source and output are HDR, otherwise, HDR does not work.

Also far more usable with the button
I like buttons.
You spend an inordinate amount of time pushing them.
ugreen supports HDCP 1.4 but this one supports 2.2.
Ugreen was $13 2 weeks ago aswell.
This one has the benefit of requiring one less hdmi cable.Reviews are mixed on the Ugreen one,. seems to have issues as my cheapo hdmi switch, maybe it's common problem with most of these switches and device compatibility plays a part, trying to find one that for sure auto switches hopefully without using remote apart from switching one device on and other off to auto switch, button and remote a definite requirement just incase
Edit: unless someone here has tried this or the Ugreen one? and share their experiences?
Wow popped up for a moment with 32% off with another seller but now has disappeared lolz
Edit: how about this $14.99, 3 way with remote/button and auto change hdmi port?
Simplecom CM303 Ultra HD 3 Way HDMI Switch 3 in 1 Out Splitter 4K@60Hz, Black https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08R5LZW5Q/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…
One rating with 100% for above hdmi switch lol
Would this (or Ugreen) work with outputting signal (both video and audio) from receiver to projector screen and TV (obviously one at a time)?
Ok trying to keep this thread alive, might buy this from Amazon as it's on sale 41% off so now $16.99 and its 5 way,. rovides video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, supports 12 bit deep colour per channel, backward compatible with previous HDMI revisions, bandwidth up to 18Gpbs, and auto switching to active input source port
Simplecom CM305 Ultra HD 5 Way HDMI Switch 5 in 1 Out Splitter 4K@60Hz, Black https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08R5MHRRX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…
Buying this mainly cause in description it states it will automatically switch to the newly switched on input (other simplecom models don't star that), though if you read the mixed reviews were they state issues with this switch they state it needs a power source to function (so does the power supply come with it if not what does it need, states 5 volts in description, hopefully they mean USB 5 volts? Funny my cheapo needs 5 volts and it ain't USB), though don't even show the sides of this device we're power goes in, this looks very similar to my unbranded cheapo 5 way hdmi switch so hope this one is better, dare I say can't go wrong for $17, or maybe more collection of junk
Edit: Actually one photo shows the side on an angle, zoomed right in and it takes micro USB connector, link of picture below so buying🤣
