Damn I bought from the PSN deal recently, now I’m tempted to get this for the portability. Great game, Studio Ghibli does Pokémon basically.

  • Great game, if you love pokemon or RPG generally, one of the best.

So basically a 'White Witch' is D&D's version of Karen ?

I'd would totally play, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of The Karens :D

Really great game! Worth giving a shot if you're into or are at all interested in JRPG's. Overall very 'wholesome' as you might expect from Ghibli.

  • Fantastic game! Enjoyed this much more than the sequel.

  • I played this on PS3, and enjoyed it a lot. Very nice art styles due to studio ghibli involvement. Gameplay is “jrpg” similar to a dragon quest style game.

  • I enjoyed it on PS3, beautiful art. Goes on a bit too long as this kind of game tends to do.

lots of grinding in this game.

more grinding than my time on grindr

no suprise, the word Kuni translates to the word 'hoe' in one of the middle east language.

  • I really liked this. I'm a bit Studio Ghibli and the artstyle of this is obviously very similar and influenced by this. The gameplay and story were also enjoyable :) Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely fun!

  • about 50 hours of game play

  • Would anyone who's played this recommend this for a 6yo ?

    • +3

no, too complex for a 6 yo. Unless he is a genius

    • Was going to ask for my 9 yr old!

  • Always been meaning to give this a go, heard good reviews, big fan of Studio Ghibli and also Switch collecting dust. Thanks OP!

  • Definitely a great JRPG. The gameplay is similar to pokemon with the Studio Ghilbi soundtrack and animation.
