          Polyester is plastic. Plastic locks in moisture. Bacteria and fungus love moisture.

          Change em twice a day and you will have 2 stinky socks a day.

      My note, I have 16 pairs from costco and none have ripped or have holes. Been wearing for over 2 years. Apparently these amazon ones are not as good costco tho

        4 pairs for 4 years assuming they mean wearing one pair every workday for a year.
