  • Ordered 2 S22 Ultra 256 GB: Burgundy and Black. The black one has been shipped but Burgundy one showing Preparing Dispatch since last 6 days. Anyone in the same boat?

  • My order has been stuck on preparing for dispatch since at least the 27/02, do you receive an email when it has been shipped?

  • Anyone with the online exclusive colours received any updates on the accessories you added on? I added the clear case (much like most of us), but it still shows preparing to dispatch.

    It should be two separate deliveries.

    For mine, the phone itself is still under customising, which will probably only dispatch mid the week after.

    Anyone got a dual sim tray variant for the S22 ultra? Just wondering if there is a variant out there that has it.

    • Same, but I ordered the red colour which is the slowest of the exclusive colours (6-7 weeks). The case is also still preparing dispatch.

      • Same here. I got the red for the S21, and the colour looks really good so I decided to stick with red for the 22 as well.

        Didn't know the different colours had different waiting times as well.

        • My order status is no longer showing "Customising" (the icon is black now) but not "Ready to ship" either.

        • Mine looks to be sitting in "Preparing Order"although this is greyed out. The customising order looks to be completed. My case is still sitting on preparing order, too. Fingers crossed more updates in the next few days!

    • They are all out of stock, except Green, which is discounted at $1,479.20 for the 256GB model. No $200 accessory bonus or the free BONUSCARE though.

      Same price for the exclusive colours too, if you don't mind waiting 6+ weeks.

    2. can someone remind me what the go is with trade in and penalty for not returning the phone?
      will you loose your bonus trade in credit?
      any other negatives around not returning the trade in?
      first hand experience from most recent S22 trade owners would be appreciated.

    • I ordered a cheap one off amazon. Neo flex didn't get good reviews on Amazon. Think I'll hold off glass at the moment as most seem to mess up the finger print reader. Was thinking wow this screen feels so much better and that factory installed protector is so good you can't even see it…but it was only feeling that good because it was bareback! lol

      • 99% of glass screen protectors will break fingerprint.
        May work initially for the first few weeks, then as the bond weakens overtime, you will lose fingerprint.
        Even the "Samsung" approved, Dome glass has this issue and that one is like $50 a piece.

        Read all the reviews on Amazon about Dome Glass, it also has the same issue with fingerprint after 1-2months.

        Neo flex has a good feeling to it, i have one applied on my phone right now, and have used them for my S21+ last year.

    • I've owned the Note series since 2017 with the curved screen. The only screen protector I will be buying for s22ultra (like device) will be the Whitestone Dome. Detailed instructions to install, take your time and watch a video, it is hardened glass with glue by ultra violet light. Not cheap but lasts for years, doesn't move, works with fingerprint, you would not know you have a screen protector on. Has saved a few Note screens for me.

  • Trade up question - I ordered the Ultra with a trade up code, but haven't got an email on where to send my old phone. When should I expect to get this? And is it in the email or app? I ordered with a EDU discount, does the email come through the EDU email or my samsung account email (which is the one I used to register for the trade up?)

        On second that makes sense. If you're trading in the phone you're currently using it would be a bit harsh to get you to send it in beforehand haha. Leave you phone-less for however long samsung takes to deliver the goods. I'm trading in an old iPhone 7 that I haven't used in ages. Long story short, I was forced to buy it in Rome after being pick pocketed on a solo around the world trip. Wasn't pleasant but at least I get to salvage some value out of it. Story for another day.

      • I ordered on the 14th or Feb. I ordered 2x wireless chargers and a case. Got both of them Monday.

        Samsung's support is awful. I ordered the white charger cos at the time the black charger was out of stock. Next day black charger comes in stock. Called them 3 different times to try and get it changed over to the black colour but with no luck. They just say "we can't do that" even though nothing was shipped.
        Anyway last time I spoke to them on the phone they advised all accessories and phone will be dispatched together…. Guess what? It did not.
        All orders made with Samsung are final and cannot be changed from my experience which suck. Especially something as simple as a colour change on an accessory

    • Same order. Only received the wireless charger. The phone is on its way according to its status but the other accessories are just on order placed. Ordered 10/2

    • People in Singapore have started receiving their red so that's a good sign. Not sure about the storage size though.

  • Got my s22 ultra green 512mb yesterday. No sign of clear case with a built-in stand, yet. You'd think cases would be far easier to source and ship than complex devices like smartphones. Also, no sign of samsung care info on how to activate. No comms from assurion either on returning the traded in phone.

Looking at my order conformation email again, just now, it implies that registration will be done automatically: "You will receive an additional welcome email for Samsung Care+ to confirm whether your enrolment has been successful". Now I am reluctant to proceed with manual registration if the process is that they will do it on my behalf. I am wondering whether it is only a matter of waiting few more days for the registration confirmation email to arrive?

        • I still haven't got mine. Will have to call Asurion to troubleshoot and activate Samsung Care Plus manually, I think. However, I got an email yesterday asking me to send the traded-in phone back to Asurion now that I received my S22 Ultra order. Funny how that part of the process works well.

    Anyone else got their s22 ultra and noticed the video quality to be very bad, looks like there is no detail in the videos, everything out of focus and weird oversharpening affects. Comparing to base s20 it's a noticeably worse video

  • For those who ordered the online exclusive colours, has anyone received updates on their phones yet? For reference, I ordered the red S22 Ultra 256gb on 10th of Feb. Its currently stuck at preparing order but is greyed out. It was previously in customising order status with a green highlight. Customising seems to have finished but no progress since. I also ordered the phone case but this has been in preparing order since 10th of Feb. Just curious to see if anyone has seen theirs progress quicker. I am lowering expectations and am assuming I won't get mine till next month. 😜

    • I just contacted the online chat this morning (was miracle I got connected :D) and they said that the item is just waiting to be picked up by the courier. Once it's picked up then the status will be updated. Maybe try to contact them and see where it is? And please update back here.
      My white protective standing cover arrived last week. I'm glad that it's transparent, I was expecting white from the picture and ordered only to get the discount, hope it goes well with the red :)
