I've been looking for a deal on this speaker. This is not a record price and won't be front page, but it's the cheapest I've seen this year.
TGG just dropped from $129 to $99. They have Black, Grey, Blue and Pink on their webstore in stock near me for click and collect, but strangely said it wasn't eligible for delivery to my address.
Hope it helps someone, but there could be be better deals, code stacks, cashbacks, or price beats on the horizon.
Checked a stack of reviews incl Rtings when intending to buy the Anker Soundcore Motion+ from a post here.
This is cheaper, smaller, waterproof and floats, more spatial, still stereo with pretty similar sound, and decent battery life.
It also does multipoint Bluetooth 5 incl pairing two speakers together, and multipoint has been flaky on Motion+. Downsides are no 3.5mm port and it doesn't have a mic for speaker phone calls. That's about it.
I'll use it with PC and Laptop on desk, then take outdoors as needed. Would liked to have jumped on the 2020 twin pack for $129 or $69 single units, but it seems chip shortage has knocked prices in 2021.
$89 is best Amazon has done in a while and I'm hoping the site might repeat with some competition. Google search says $99 at JB but it's still $129 on website. May drop too
Megaboom is great if loud volume is goal, but not the clearest at lower volume vs this or Motion+. Funny as WB and MB should have similar DNA

UE need to hurry up and come out with speakers that use USB C

I searched for new model rumours but nothing online and their past launches were around CES so may not be replaced soon.
The global chip shortage apparently drove up prices, so this could be the unofficial normal now it's stabilising.
TGG had 15% off a day or two ago. I bought when 10% and really impressed with the sound quality for such a small speaker

Also, I couldn't manage to find it in this colour on camelcamelcamel but definitely one of the lowest I've seen it for a while.

@[Deactivated]: No worries. Glad you worked it out. I used the google ad link after a search and trimmed off all the tracking characters in after the question mark. Usually good practice when pasting a URL.

Can I ask what reasons or features have made you look for this model in particular?
E.g. the small size portability, price/value?
I was eyeing the recent deal for Megaboom 3 for about $210, but loving the idea of a smaller size … Even at the expense of audio quality perhaps
