I bought 2 of these and returned both.

Great mouse, but I came from an Intellimouse, into Logitech G series.

So moving to Razer with buttons that take the force of a god to click (by comparison); and worse for me, had a disproportionate return weight (had to take far too much pressure off) was not going to fly.

Nothing wrong with it, just wrong for a MS/Logi trained hand.

    • Man I'm forever accidentally clicking my current mouse - maybe this is the one for me.

+1 for the G502, I've got both and love the G502. Probably my all time favourite mouse, I wish I got it from catch when it was a ridiculously cheap $50-60

I concur - I had to return mine also. The worst for me was that on a Razor mouse mat (and I assume other surfaces too) it was rough in comparison to my logitechs. Switching between them showed this extremely prominently. The Logitech was smooth as butter in comparison. Almost felt like the surface itself was rough but both the mouse and mat were smooth and new.

If you're not used to it being ultra smooth it might not bother you, but the change over was pretty bad. The buttons were an additional problem for sure.

Have two of these (work and home), and while it feels and looks great, regularly disconnects even at close range (have to either pull usb out and back in or remove batteries to get it working again).

I get this when I stop using the mouse for a few minutes but only once every few weeks does it happen.

      Still love it.

      • +1

I've had this mouse for about 6 months, I use it for work and my partner uses it for gaming, can confirm that when I have been idle or AFK it disconnects and I have to move it a bit to get it back on.

I am not sure if this is a feature thats meant to happen but I just always thought it was meant to do this to save battery life.

Her and I have never had a connection issue whilst actively using the mouse.

        • +1

That's normal, the mouse will go into power saving mode when idle for several minutes, you can adjust this value usually in synapse. My orochi v2 and G305 do the same thing.

          • @neomoz: Thanks for letting me know! I should really check out the options on Synapse.

    • I get this a lot too - worst is when it happens in the middle of a game - the mouse just goes AWOL until I turn it off and then on again.

Don't bother with this mouse. I have it and have the following issues:

    • Left click is super dicky. Cannot reliably drag click windows and the like. It thinks I double click or release the button when I haven't.
    • Uses AA batteries. Get about 2 months on a pair. My MX Master 3 is so much better with rechargeable batteries inbuilt.
    • The Bluetooth is super dicky. Sometimes it just freezes the mouse.
    • Razer software is meh.

Find the extra cash and get the G502 off Amazon. Or buy a used G602 for ~$40. Much better mouse.

I'm using this mouse right now and it often loses connectivity over bluetooth AND the usb dongle. regret buying it.

I agree with the above comments going from a Logitech M720 to this felt like a downgrade. I've had it for a round 3-4 months and am regretting getting this. The M720 is far better built and is like butter compared to the hollow feeling clicky Razer.

Really do not recommend this mouse, bought one a few years ago, and switched it out for logitech g305 6 months in, i tried using it last month and the sensor just stopped working, i can't return it anymore since it's out of the warranty window.
