    Nice find!
    Great mouse
    I have one currently - paid $160.

Whats the appeal of charging docks? Arn't these supposed to have 1 year battery life at least?

    • This one is listed as "up to 100 hours", so I am guessing YMMV depending on how many of the RGB lights you have flashing at once.

    • I don't understand docks either. The old Logitech mice charged on a dock and it was always the weak point - always having to wiggle them on, or clean the contacts. Plugging in a cable is much more reliable.

  • i put 10 times on the dock, only two time would charge. only used half year.

Are you referring to the longevity of the battery

      or that it had faults

      -Can it charge a toothbrush

No i refer to the contact of the mouse and charging dock.

Really great mouse! The rubbery pads on the sides feel nice, good size n shape. Synapse can be terrible but also pretty good when it's set up right, makes things very convenient. I swear I charge it every few (2?) weeks though, playing games/web browsing a few hours a day. That's even with the lights off. No idea how it's meant to last 100hrs, unless you barely use it! Good thing you can use it in wired mode too, just in case it happens to die

Those "up to x hours" are always a joke, I usually get between 1-3 weeks from it (depending on how often I work from home) with the LEDs off.

Docking can be a little iffy at times but once you get used to its placement you can do it pretty quickly.

I've got one of these and I'm pretty happy with it. I use the profile switch underneath to switch between browsing (low polling, slow and dim RGB) and gaming (high polling, fast and colourful RGB for +5 to coolness and dexterity) to conserve battery life. Haven't ever had a problem getting it docked to charge.
I also printed out an extended thumb trigger that goes on the existing one so it's easier to reach.

  • Got one of these for Christmas. Battery for me lasts 4 or 5 days with 6 or so hours per day use before it needs to go on the charger for a couple of hours.Overall been really impressed with this mouse. Maybe a little bit too small for my hands (I like to palm grip), but I have been learning to claw grip a little more.

Can't really fault anything with the actual performance - just wish it had a skate on the right hand edge of the mouse where the underside buttons are. That section scrapes across my hard mousepad and has already started to wear down a little bit. Seems like the mousepad is abrasive on the bare edge of the mouse.
