Never goddamn heard of this game, but I am always for people raising awareness of shit before being delisted, AND sales right before being delisted.

I'm pretty sure i had this on Amiga years ago

    • Yep, great theme song!

        Into the wonderful

        • Into…
          …the wonnerful

          Oh no!:

Q: Where is the "Into the wonderful" music?

A: We know that many people remember the iconic music and we tried to get it or rather a remixed/modernized version of it into the game. However, the music was originally already licensed and couldn't be part of the license deal for the game. Music licensing is a very complex business and unfortunately the music publisher didn't show any interest in pursuing this opportunity so we had to come up with an alternative, that was not a cover version but keeps the spirit alive.

          • @Jackson: The one reason even at $1.45 I won't buy it.

            • @[Deactivated]: I just loaded it and it still looks surprisingly decent even in original mode on a 55" TV, and plays pretty well. It's easier than I remember it being but only played level 1

    • One of my favourites on the Amiga!!

    • Yes! I loved this on the Amiga. No idea if this remastered version is any good, but for $1.45 I'll add it to the library before it gets delisted.

      • It's not bad, doesn't seem as slow to move around either

        • I reckon if I play it for half an hour I'll have more than had my $1.50 worth, so there's not much pressure on it :D

  • First time cheaper on NS.

For Switch, seems to be $15 on AU store, 99c on US store.

      This is the big distinction

    • thanks, I will remove the link for Switch then

  • You could play this on arcade machines back in the day.

    • huh? Never seen this

loved this game. back in the old days.. it was a pinnacle of computing game success

    • Yep, this game was top tier back in the day.. played it HEAPS

  • Wow this brought back memories. Insta buy for me. Pity about the de-listing

  • Thanks OP. Knew nothing about the game prior to this but reminds me a little of an old arcade game I used to love as a kid called Rastan.

Now to decide which games backlog to add it to! 😁

  • Fun fact besides the fact you can play the original game emulated or on a real Amiga still, the upcoming Amiga mini coming out in March should make it very easy to play on.

  • I remember reading about this game in my monthly EGM magazine when I was a young lad.

Very striking logo so I'll always remember it

  • So if they changed the music, what licensing restriction could be in effect? Maybe can only come from Mike Montgomery (who's quoted as the owner)?

  • Steam link showing as $14.50 for me, did the discount expire?

    • looks like limited time sale for Steam, will mark it as expired for now

    • FYI it is $1.5 now on steam

  • Thanks for this OP, brings back memories of the old days..

  • Bitmap Brothers!
