It will for about a year then as soon as you are outside of your return window it won't. Source: bought one last year now it doesnt do anything but making loud noise.
This is the case for all cordless vacuums under $100.
We've had a Dyson V6, Kmart, Black & Decker and finally a Viomi?
They all die shortly after a year, battery life is cooked, heads are worn etc.
@jonagrah: viomi a9? What happened with that one in particular?
@jonagrah: I am going to try get a Dreame V9 or V10 or something under or around the $200 mark I hope it lasts more than a year because if not then I might as well just get something like this then for the next time.
Just waiting for another ebay sale.
This one vs. Xiaomi?
Dyson
Too expensive
Dyson has strongest suction and "brand prestige". Xiaomi is an acceptable step down from Dyson. Don't get generic / budget brands, they're not worth it.
You'll need a more powerful one if you have a lot of carpet. A cheaper one will do if you have mostly hard floor.
Why not get both?
I have the Viomi A9 and it is fantastic. Had it for about 6 months and cant fault it. Sucks up everything. I have had the Dreame V10 and hated it. Flicked all the dirt around.
Is it the motor or the outer design that flicked the dirt around?
Damn I am looking at buying the V9 or V10 or something around the $200 or lower mark so you reckon give the V10 a miss?
I had that carpet cleaner. Don't bother with it, all it does is spit water everywhere from the crap filter.
Got ourselves a Bissell Pro Heat Pro instead.
These Aldi sticks are crap.
I love that I can come to OzBargain for a quick consensus on these deals.
Miele vacuum cleaners have been really good to us in our family. I wouldn't buy anything else.
And try getting one !
Just wasted 50 minutes (thought they opened at 8!) in a queue out the front, only to find out that they had NONE in stock.
Disgraceful - Many disappointed (P|ssed off!) people.
And simply not good enough for a Front Page Item of the catalogue.I felt sorry for the only Aldi guy on the floor, fielding queries on whether they have stock or stock arriving, but to be honest "I wouldn't know" is not an adequate response to an annoyed mob.
A lot of the angst would have been avoided by simply posting on the front window near the door that stock has been delayed that they don't currently have any.

Says “experiencing delays” on the webpage Aldi website for 95% of items in todays special buy catalogue on the Aldi site.
Not that you should have to check on the website. Or not that Aldi cares. This is typical Aldi tactic known as bait advertising. They being doing it for years.

How many of those shoppers then spent $20-$100 or more on groceries while there?
Anyway if you were after one their stick vacuum cleaners consider yourself lucky they were out stock. They did you favour. They are very ineffective buy Dyson v7 or dreame v9
Yeah, good advice re: Dyson - Have a couple at home, never fault.
But I needed these for our shop front - Plant shop - Lots of dirt and stuff.
Need to find something cheap, that I don't mind throwing away in 2 years and buying another.
Tried the TROUVER POWER 11 Stick Vac, was good while it lasted, but the battery stopped taking charge after 10 months.
I've got a couple of the Xiaomi Robot vacs at the shop that have lasted nearly 4.5 years - Never missed a beat.
The only Aldi item we hope it sucks.
