    It's not obvious from the thumbnail but 12V is a benefit when putting together cabinetry since you can get the driver into much smaller spaces.

    But if you're the normal home user you probably want a 18V drill/driver set.

      I find the 12v perfectly fine for any household job. I've never felt the need to use my 18v

        The main issue is the cross compatibility with other skins you might want, such as a recip saw, circular saw, angle grinder, and garden tools.

          @coxymla: Yeah, true. The limited options in the 12v range is the biggest drawback for sure.

          Also, as someone who uses the drills and drivers regularly, I appreciate how lighter and smaller the 12v are.
