    Surprised by the downvote, you are correct.

    Amazon.co.jp has digital (kindle) as 418 yen, paper comic 440yen (around $5 AUD).
    Amazon.com.au digital $8 and book $13

    Does it really cost that much to translate?

    Unless I really like the franchise title, I wait for translated manga to go below $10/volume before I purchase. Also can’t justify paying $15 for something I can buy in Japan for $5. But I guess with manga being an enormous industry in Japan, they can afford to sell it really cheap domestically.
