But the variety of shapes these days are far superior to many years ago. Sure an old logitech or razer was durable, but mouse skates need replacing every 1-2 years anyway.
yeah i prefer the Logitech g502
My razer lachesis only lasted 3 years and gone to the bin, because the cord stopped working, the mouse wheel started to slip too. Lotos of issues.
Oh no, I missed out. I have a mouse addiction lately. This seems much better than the deathadder essential I got recently too.
Of course this one better than DA essential….btw, you can consider DA v2 which is around 60, almost same to this one
Thanks! $24 is very tempting for an extra but not at $60 though! Unfortunate.
Haha my DA essential is so basic compared to this and I thought that was a decent deal.
I went from a DA essential to the standard Viper a year ago, was a night and day difference, especially in terms of weight
Absolutely no chance these go through.
They've already taken funds from my account - that's normally a good sign with Amazon.
That's not indicative of anything at all, and people already had their order cancelled before I posted.
I can't imagine this is even the cost price.
Sorry, what I meant was that Amazon generally doesnt take funds from your account until they're basically about to ship your item/s out to you.
Anyway, my order has already been shipped.
@jjsu: Yeh same and a bunch of peeps from hotukdeals have had their prdouct delivered. Definitely a legit steal for those who got in. Better than boxing day deals.
It's amazon, they honor prices.
Hope people get their orders and the right model. Hoping for a future drop at this price again!
Bought 5 for my cats but they only charged me for one
Nooooooo missed it :(
Viper Mini > Viper - but congrats to whoever bought this at this price. mad steal
Let me fix that for you Viper mini > Viper if you have hands on the smaller side ;).
Personally have the original Viper and my wide ass hands barely stay on the sides without dragging.
For small hand, it is~~~but as far as I know, even many e-sport players decided to use the Viper wired
Nice, mine has been posted already- "Delivery By Australia Post Global".
Same! Let’s hope it’s the right product delivered from Amazon UK haha
Shipped too, going to take some time to come…..
Update: just received mine and the Razer mouse came sealed and brand new. Very fast shipping from UK lmao
What was your expected arrival date?
@ozziekhoo: Expected was 10 Feb, arrived today
@BargainsGrabber: Nice! Mine's still at "shipping information approved" as per Aus Post app
Is there any practical reason to have 8000Hz and 20000dpi? Seems like 'more is better' marketing rather than anything that would make a difference.
Edit: to be clear, not suggesting the deal isn't good.
Absolutely no reason. In this video(0:19 to 1:55), they briefly go over some research that covers all that BS. Most mice today have high enough DPI and 8KHz really won't make a difference for most people
Amazon just confirm postage for my 3 units.
If anyone wants to get rid of one for cost I'm interested, located in WA.
hi @itsfuze, I'm in perth (kinda central) and with more than one on order, so I'll jokingly say that cost according to the amazon au site is now $115 per unit. I'll happily swap one for that with you when they arrive…
But seriously though, DM me…Hey man! I copped 3. Would you like one? Im based in Perth
Hey mate, I messaged AdModnar and waiting on a response. If he can't help me out, i'll shoot you a message. Thanks heaps for the offer!
Hi mate, Was this Jacque?
@keanoobreaves: Yes, is Perth really that small…
@itsfuze: LMAO
Delivered in 9 days! Almost quicker then domestic.
Which model came ?
As advertised 👍🏼
Delivered yesterday. Nice mice
Just got mine too. Original, brand new.
It’s here 😀
Oof seems like I'm one of the unlucky ones at the end.
Est delivery 10th of Feb and it hasn't even shipped yet.
10th of Feb for me too, however Amazon tracking has already updated to show that the parcel is in Australia
Mine arrived today (in Melbourne). Great product, especially at this insane price!
Mine arrived today, I was pretty happy with it, genuine and brand new but then l did a shutdown on my PC and then the mouse was dead at the next bootup.
Found out it's a known bug on older firmware so if you have any issues, the potential (It worked for me) fix is below:
https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4540/~/r…Got mine a few days ago and the best setting is 2000hz polling as its the most consistent.
You play something like warzone or anything that uses 90% of your pc's CPU expect polling rate issues which means inconsistency with tracking etc.
issues/fixes
When mouse is plugged into USB2.0 port it boots with 1000hz when it enters windows.
fix = plug mouse into USB3.0 port
When you get the mouse update the firmware asap before installing that garbage synapse software.
Set your DPI to what you then uninstall that horrid razer app with dodgy hidden services.
rip my order got cancelled - tried to contact customer service but they just suggested me order a new one $92 each 😅
Oh my goodness, this is one of the best mice I've ever used. Beats the Deathadder V2 by a large margin.
On 8k it can be a bit spastic depending on the game and your cpu. It's like on adhd and steroids it's just so responsive.
Sweet spot is 4k for buttery smooth quick response on games like Bfv, running 3700X and 3080.
Absolute monster of a mouse this Viper 8k is.

Razer mice of old could last 10 years, i still have an old razer Imperator from 2011 working today.
New mice razer makes is made to fail, they want you to keep buying new ones within 1-2 years.
