For that to happen, the govt needs to push for more work from home.

More people will just start taking public transport if it costs too much to drive.

But no, they're selfish, they want their city centres to be bustling again

            Who is selfish ?

Which is a good thing, provided the dam trains work. On the way home, my team were stuck on the metro in Sydney for an hour, which was then terminated. They took a cab and split the far. On the way in, the trains went along super slow, making everyone super late.

              Who is selfish ?

              Government. Politicians.

There are better adjectives. Not all a selfish.

the irony will be that worldwide supply chain disruptions from covid, now conflict and countries stock piling, turns out to be the biggest catalyst behind australia speeding up its transition onto ev's, renewables and net zero by 2030. ends up beating this during 2023. oh those russians #bonnym

  • Anyone getting an A01 Error when trying to do a lock this morn?

  • Anyone notice there is no longer u98 prices in store locator? Or is that just me?

      • +1

Did you report the error to 7-eleven? I got negged last time for asking. If it gets fixed surely it's a benefit to us. The bad situation that could arise is that all stores have u98 prices above $2.20 and then we can't lock in any u98 price.

        • +1

I sent an email. No reply though
I'll try their social media on Facebook, normally very responsive

        • Seems like I’m getting negged for bringing it up too. Not sure why.

      • Thanks, I saw it mentioned but couldn’t find it, the link helped. Guess we just wait and see now.

    • I noticed that on Monday so went for a drive and all of my local 7-eleven stores had closed the 98 pumps and some of the 95 pumps.
Saw a tanker filling at one of the stores yesterday morning and then prices were again available in the app at $2.399

For those who use 3utools, does it still work if you update the phone to iOS 15.4?

    • -1

      😲

Test it and let us know…

      • -3

Why would I ask here if I was going to test it myself?

        • +1

Wow what a helpful community. If you don’t want to help someone, just move along.

          • -1

            Wow what a helpful community.

Yet you're not willing to help by letting others know if it works… Talk about hypocrisy….

            • +3

              @jv: Are you slow?

There would be plenty of people on iOS 15 already as regular iPhone users who already tried this.

It’s not like I’m asking whether someone has tried some experimental, out of this world, extreme version of iOS which carries life or death level of risk.

I guess next time you are not sure about something, just try it yourself and share with us the results. Oh wait, I guess you know everything right?

            • @jv: That’s what you claim but your actions speak far louder than your words.

your actions speak far louder than your words.

Except that this is a forum and there are no actions, only words… LOL

                • @jv: You posting here is an action? How do you post without any action? LOL

                  • -1

                    @keejoonc:

You posting here is an action?

                    Nope, just words… LOL

                    • @jv: What you posted is words, which is different to the act of posting. Too hard to grasp?

                      • @keejoonc:

                        What you posted is words

                        I didn't post them.

                        • @jv: You must have since they contain unnecessary bolded words.

    • iFake works just fine.

      • Thanks. I’ve only used 3utools before but will look into iFake.

  • Anyone getting error E01 despite passing SafetyNet?

The SafetyNet Test app (first one if you search safety net on play store) says "success" for all categories, but the 7/11 app gives me the E01 error and I can't lock.

I'm on Android 10 on a Pixel 3a with Magisk 24.3 and using kdrag0n's Universal SafetyNet Fix v2.21.

Here's what I've done so far:
    - Followed the guide posted by @cwongtech here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11657542/redir using Magisk 23.0 (last version before all the Zygisk stuff)
    - At this point, I was failing the CTS profile match step of SafetyNet
    - Tried using kdrag0n's Universal SafetyNet Fix v1.2 from his github rather than the link from xda forums that has the additional shim file that @cwrongtech has in the .txt file guide
    - Was still failing CTS
    - Tried the MagiskProps fix @cwongtech posted here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11657542/redir
    - Termux wouldn't prompt for superuser privledges upon opening, so I updated Magisk to the latest version and then it did start prompting
    - After setting the fingerprint for Android 10 and 12, CTS was still failing
    - Disabled the props config, enable Zygisk and tried kdrag0n's Universal SafetyNet Fix v2.21 (latest version)
    - Now I pass SafetyNet but get the E01 error

Have you tried a reboot? I had the exact same issue and only a reboot fixed it

      • +3

I did try and reboot but it didn't work, but I just tried a power-off and power on and now it does work.

Cheers for the fastest response ever btw

    U91 is cheaper than E10…
It will be 192.9 in WA tomorrow via the Chopper.

    • If you can hold out Tues or Wed is their cheap day.

  • Guys, I'm 10 mins behind my fuel lock. If I screen shot it, can I still use it after the time has passed?

    • +2

No. Once it's expires it's expired

You're just screen capturing your member barcode. That won't change but your fuel lock does expire

Look for a closer 7 eleven

      • I just left it last minute, to arrive, to find out that they stopped selling diesel. So I wouldn't have made it to the next 7-11 in time. My fault. Never have I ever had to deal with 'no fuel' at a fuel station!

    • Time for a fresh lock.

Prices are a bit cheaper now than a week ago anyway.

      • I had mine locked in last week. I had $1.90 for diesel. Cheapest anywhere. Lost out now by a few minutes. But like you said, prices are dropping, I still have 1/4th tank so that will last me another week.

  • Thanks heaps, spent an hour setting it up on my Mi10Ultra on MIUI13 and works a treat <3

  • Has anyone made a 7/11 account with a lesser known email provider (e.g. tutanota or protonmail)?

I haven't been able to get the verification code email with both providers and would prefer to not provide a phone number to open another Google or outlook account.

I bought a second hand Google Pixel device and you can create a google account without providing a phone number in the initial setup of the phone, but after that it requires a number.

    • +1

Instead of opening a second Google/Gmail account, you can re-use your existing email account by adding one or more dots (.) throughout the username portion of your email address to make it appear as a separate address when signing up to services. Email destined for this "new" email address should reach your mailbox, assuming the service provider hasn't implemented smarts to detect them. No additional effort is required - see here for more info.

Gmail may still support aliases, which I believe work similarly. Before the @-sign, add a + followed by any random string; emails to this "new" address will also go to your mailbox. See here for more info.

      • +1

Wow, that worked with the 7/11 registration. Thanks heaps! No need to mess around with other email providers

      • Does this work for an @outlook.com address?

        • According to this page, MS added support for the "+" method similarly provided by Gmail.

Feel free to test and let us know your findings. I don't have an @outlook.com address so can't test myself.

Anyone else having issues trying to sign up the app?

Doesn't seem to actually send me a verification email, have tried on two email accounts now with no joy.

    • +2

Couldn't get it working yesterday either

      • Good to know its not just my incompetence then! :-)

        • It could be both :-)

      • Looks like its been fixed.

    • Same

  • +3

Seems the 7-11 app isnt sending verification emails for new signups. Annoying as I was trying to set up a new account for family to lock them in.

    • Having this same issue. No verification emails for change of password nor new sign ups.
I emailed them 2 days ago - no response still.

  • Anyone else having issues with their helicopter?

On Android, has been working for a few months. I sign in ok, but get the error 'Oops no connection! Looks like the internet connection was lost. Let's try again'

The internet works in Chrome and the app signed in ok. If I click 'My Card', it doesn't load the card. I'm guessing it's picking up something that it's a modded phone. Have tried resetting the app and stopped the GPS, but has the same issue.

SafetyNet check still passes, with evalType BASIC

    Any ideas?

    • +2

Got it working. Updated Magisk and put a new version of smali patcher on it
