I could understand if you got the month wrong, but the day too?!?

Hmmm, tried to edit but can't after someone replies to your comment. Tried to append with:

"lol - beaten by ninja edit"

OP had the wrong day and month originally.

I think it's because the OP copied the description from this previous Super Saturday post:

      TARDIS sold seperately.

  • +2

I thought this is now the norm for Myer.

they have this all the time, and its consistently terrible.

  • waiting for new macbook pro and $100 off apple..

  • "too many to mention"

The list of GOOD ones is extremely short though.

  • +3

I am inclined to neg this.
Can anyone give an example of a specific product which will be cheaper at Myer on Saturday than anywhere else? Because I have not been able to find such a product at Myer in years.

    • +1

yeah nothing is ever cheap at myer with these sales. I do get bargains there occasionally, its always when they have unadvertised specials where they mark clothes down and then take an extra 75% off marked price. but the regular sales are nothing special, and their mens clothing selection is terrible in the suburb stores.

      • +1

Agreed. It's only the ad-hoc "clearance racks" that are worth looking at, as well as the pricing errors (an accidental 75% off 75% discounted things).

        • +2

Yeah last time i went to this Super Sat sale, going for the 40% off Jack Stone, Reserve, and Maddox, but ended up walking out with 5 items all of which came from the 50% off already reduced clearance items. Great shopping trip, but didn't actually buy any of these advertised discounts.
I still think they're good value though, there were some items which i would've bought if the other clearance stuff wasn't there.

  • Hmm don't know if they have extra discount on their already 30% off laptop.

No bargains mentioned, this is just advertising a catalogue sale… No bargain…

Myer is bloody terrible. Every time their super sale is just trash!!!
the Phillip iron GC4856 is for sale 79 at davidjones, and myer did not even price match it!!!
All those exclude are seriously annoying……..

  • +4

Dunno what you guys are complaining about.
50% off Blaq, Kenji, Reserve and Domingo business shirts (amongst other specials) is not a bargain? These are in house brands (not sure about Domingo) so it's not like you can go to Target or Kmart and find a better price. Therefore methinks it's a pretty good deal.

    • +2

The Blaq have 2 varieties of shirts. $49 and the $79. both are classed as business shirts. Yet every time i go instore when they have a % sale off Blaq business shirts, its never on the $79 shirts.

    • +5

blaq, kenji and reserve are all awful brands. poor quality and still overpriced.

      • +1

tbh when the reserve shirts go on sale, they don't make a too bad poor man's business shirt.

        • Agree with this. Easy to iron and lasts with washing.

  • I liked this sale, & got some bargains, too.
Tried on a jumper at Country Road store, then into Myer Country Road- 25% off- so got it there! Win!

  • Didnt buy anthing from their one day sale stuff, but bought a few things from the 'further 75% off' racks.

  • Bought the LG 42LW5700 for $760 and the Panasonic home theatre SCBTT 775 for $445. Pretty good deal i think.

  • The Levi's and JAG jeans are actually still $75 for the next week or something IIRC, they changed the signs just before closing at Myer Sydney
