    These are ok but if you look into the TGA PDF, you'll find the limit of detection is 570 TCID50/mL (which is the amount of virus needed to return a positive result). The better tests can detect at 100 TCID50 (so are >5x as sensitive).

    Can someone explain what is happening with all these sudden pharmacy websites selling pre order RATs?
    Are they people who registered an ABN and requested stock through the govt or something? So many websites a couple weeks old or look like they were named or designed by a primary school kid.

    I mean, "Johnny Boy", selling a range of absolute shit and a heap of RATs and masks.

    Like many are saying, if you are in VIC, the major testing sites are actively encouraging people to avoid PCR testing as they were quoting 10-15 day turnaround for results. Happy to give out 2 rapid tests per person though as the government now prefers this.

    Such a rip off here in Aus. These things literally cost cents to produce. In the UK you can get a box of 7 every week for free. Just as a point make sure you do the throat swab before the nasal swab, not vise versa. Don't want to be chewing on boogers. 😂
