RRP is $125 but it goes to around $90 mark frequently.
I had one for 5 years and still going strong.

Me too, really great blender
Wife is very happy. Thanks OP
The thing about these reviews is that only people who are unhappy with the product will be bothered to go on and review. So I'd say it's negatively biased. Disclaimer: never used OPs product.
Good reviews on amazon. I sort of trust those a bit more.

I've had this Kenwood blender (a previous generation, identical in all but the grip design) and also the professional reviewer's favourite, the Breville Control Grip. The Kenwood is way, way better.
I think it includes the masher… makes life so much easier
How hard is it to mash soft potatoes with a press down masher?
Potato ricer is even better
For those with sore wrists from a life of typing, it makes it easy and smooth every time
If you need to ask you don’t know why we prefer doing it this way
That’s why they asked? Christ some people…
@bigosmallo: Seriously. Why troll here¿
I don’t know. Ask a handicapped person maybe
It was under $50 after cashback claim once in 2015, which also shows how old this model is.
Has there been much technological advancement in stick blenders that makes this bad compared to the new models?
$50, 7 years ago, would equate to about $68 now… 😁
Like someone said above, if technology advances, price drops.
Got one, thanks OP so needed one, I’m sick to death of hand whipping cream!!
Is it good to make icing for cakes?
Can't tell if it will work well for that.
I’m not sure, I panic bought like any deal on ozbargin that might sell out in seconds. But over Christmas I whipped so much cream for pavlova I will take anything at this point :)
Got one at a garage sale 4 years ago for $15 and it was worth the money I spent. I use it instead of a normal mixer.
I had one for a few years until my wife destroyed it blending ice. Was good while it lasted 😀
I bought one even though I didn't needed one. Thanks OP.
Welcome to the club!
Thanks OP, got one.
I had one of these and I used it frequently. It lasted a long while but when it started falling apart, I pre-emptively looked for and bought a Breville Control Grip stick mixer which was the #1 pick according to various reviewers including Choice.com.au and Wirecutter. Man I was disappointed. It was a solid downgrade. The Kenwood was so much better. I'm tempted to buy this deal and donate the Breville to someone.
(The only thing I like about the Breville is that the regular attachment has a plastic edges rather than metal, making it less likely to scratch/damage whatever vessel you stick it in. The Kenwood does have a partial solution for this, a secondary attachment made of plastic instead of metal, called the "soupXL", but I kept forgetting to use it and its needlessly wider footprint made it annoying to use anyway.)
Edit: Bought the deal.
Coming up as $85

Thanks, bought.
Thanks OP, got one.
I've had this, and still do, however the connection for the attachments get loose fairly soon into ownership, and I now have to hold the parts together whilst using them.
Also, the motor can struggle a bit, and the plastic discolours easily.
Having said that, I'm still using this set although looking to upgrade to a Vitamix e310.
yes i’m
on my third one as the stick inst a solid piece gets weak when used with passion and attachment slips offWhat a mixed back of reviews for the Kenwood. I've had a Sunbeam equivalent since 2009. I was able to get a replacement bowl after the original one broke (through mishandling) Nothing loose. Switches and motor still work fine.
Can't add to cart? Does this mean it's out of stock?
Better to wait for a Braun multiquick deal?
Order got cancelled.

"I bought it not long before someone reported OOS. Not bad for me as I used 5 small denomination eGCs and they will be consolidated as one eGC in refund.
You used 5 giftcards to pay for a $68 item?
Yes, my order was dispatched just now.
Gone… bugger
OOS
Thanks op!
for when you really need to blend some hands
Anybody else place an order and have it cancelled and refunded?
Picked up at Rundle Mall SA. Still 2 left on shelf
This is good, but always disconnect before dislodging any food in the blades, had to get the fire brigade in the hospital to cut the blender out as my finger got stuck and lodged in the blades. After being severed by the tri blade, one of the blades cut straight through my nail and half way through my finger luckily it did not break or cut the bone off.
They used a small dremmel circular saw and clamps to cut it off.
Ive been using the blender every day for over 10 years to make my breakfast smoothie, so got complacent with the danger.
Remarkably Nearly every single nerve healed!!! 😐 ive been taking protein and this supplement found in spinach (Turkesterone powder) some insect hormone, also found in ferns. At age 43 I am shocked at the heal. Also in addition I workout to an extreme level every second day so that may have promoted healing as well.
I still have the blender, but had to buy a new whole blender for the blade, but the original motor is still working daily.
Cool story.
Did it accidentally turn on while you were removing the food?
wtf ..that blender is like equivalent Christine from the movie , killer
Our Kenwood stick blender died out of the warranty period by a couple of months. I contacted their support, took them a few weeks to get back to me, but they replaced it after having me send them a video of the issue. I still need to pick it up from the post office so not sure if it's a new unit or refurb.
Otherwise their blenders work well (especially the masher).
I'd still recommend it.
love the masher …best part
for sure
may i know anyone received the blender from DJ? my items posted for over 2 weeks already…
If your item was posted two weeks ago, and you haven't received it, something's gone wrong. What does the tracking say?
Does anyone really got there item from DJ? Was very disappointed DJ cancelled my order and refunded after almost a month.
I thought you said it was in the post for two weeks?
my items posted for over 2 weeks already…
they despatched from 17/1..
Then why would they cancel and refund an order they've sent out?
You don't seem to be telling the full story here. Are you saying it got lost in the post and DJs refunded you?
@kerfuffle: au post haven't reply DJ, so DJ cancel my order straight away and refund me.
@xenb: That’s weird of AusPost. Sorry to hear that you didn’t receive your item.
Had the same thing happen to me. They shipped it out and it got "lost in transit" and they only got back to me today and refunded me. It just seems very suspicious…
i got a message from one of CS said as above
" As at the time we received notification of the full investigation from Australia Post the hand blender was out of stock, we can only arrange a refund to you. This allows you to select another item easier. "
It just feel impolite and look like they refund me back as a rewarded.
BTW Harvey Norman have the same item on special, but $21 more than DJ selling $89 and i admited
Had one of these for 5+ years. Use it regularly
