If you drink a lot of this stuff and don't want all the plastic bottles still much cheaper to buy a tub of the powder and mix it yourself

Agreed, though I quite like the powder as I can mix it how I want in terms of dosage. Normal powerade I find is too sweet for me and end up adding in water after I've had roughly a third of it.
The staminade powder was pretty good.
You get used to the powders I reckon.
I find it's close enough - I don't drink if for the taste.
Coles used to sell the liquid concentrate, wish they still did. It was much better than the powder, but stll not the same as the original stuff.
They don't have a sugar free version of that do they? I can find ones from the US on a web search
sugar is the main ingredient, the other is salt
I like Powerade more than Gatorade because I can suck on it like a baby bottle.
