This product is back down to its all-time low price (according to CamelCamelCamel).

Works out to be 30.3c/tablet or 27.3c/tablet for S&S.

We switched to these after experiencing the chemical taste when using Finish Ultimate tablets previously. These 'greener' tablets don't present with that chemical taste at all and we haven't noticed any drop in wash quality. If there is any difference in wash quality, it is negligible and we are satisfied with the trade off of not having that filthy chemical taste.

I'm intrigued who we is. 👑

    • You've seen Split?

      BTW at Woolworths
Finish 0% Dishwasher Tablets 22 Pack is $10 or $0.45c per tablet
Finish 0% Dishwasher Tablets 60Pack is $22 or $0.37 per tablet

This deal works out to be $0.30 per tablet so good price

      • I haven't.

Well my bad joke would make no sense then. Though good movie, see it, thank me later

OP and their dishwasher perhaps 😄

"We" presumably being the family that uses the product.

    • I always hope it's a panel of experts or at least a commercial establishment that had a chance to test the product inside out in anger.

  • +1

Never had any issues with the Finish Classic tablets sold at Chemist Warehouse for a mere 13 bucks for 110 tablets, which works out to be just under 12c per tablet.
Personally, I don't understand why people spend so much money on dishwashing tablets.

    • Personally, I don't understand why people spend so much money on dishwashing tablets.

While dishwashing powder is half the price of the tablets!

      • At least that can be partly justified by the convenience and no-mess benefit of using a tablet.

        • +2

I don't get the no-mess part. I open the lid (it has a hinge, so it stays there), I pour the powder (whatever amount I need), I close the lid - it clicks.

With tablets, I always need to use the whole thing; some I need to unwrap; I usually need or want to rinse my hands; the box takes up space; they're twice the price.

I see no single benefit of tablets.

          • @pizzaguy: What don't you get about potential mess you can create with powder? There's always a chance of you spilling the powder. With tablet, even if you drop it, it doesn't create a mess.

            • +2

@keejoonc: You're spilling the powder in the dishwasher - how is that an issue? I intentionally splash a little in the bottom to give the pre rinse cycle some soap, as the tablet / powder is released after this.

              • @zukand: Oh so accidents can only happen in the dishwasher? When I make my morning smoothie, I put various powders in it. I guess I can't create a mess since I can only spill them in the blender right? Unbelievable you people are arguing about something that can definitely happen with powders.

              • @zukand: They may think you dose the powder with a spoon or something.

                That's not the case really.

            • @keejoonc: Alright, I can also slip while grabbing either the tablets or powder. The tablet may not entirely disperse if there's less water going through the compartment (because it's obstructed).

Hypothetical situations aside, I appreciate the flexibility, ease of use and savings that the powder provides.

              • +1

@pizzaguy: You don't need to put the tablet in the compartment! Compartments are mainly for powders.

    • I used to only buy the Quantum Powerball but bulk bought the basic ones and found them just as good of not better. The Quantum used to get stuck in the dispenser if there was any residual water as the wrapperless coating would become sticky when wet.

  • Unable to purchase. It doesn't display a price.

  • +2

I've been using these since the last deal, no noticeable drop in performance vs the usual powerball tablets, and these are better for the environment!

Looks like the 132 pack is OOS, but the 60 pack is still only 33c/ea via S&S.

  • product seems to be unavailable now

  • The Aldi Logix Platinum "18 in 1" Lemon still beats them all and is much cheaper….

  • my dishwasher has a water cycle at the end which takes away any chemical smell whatsoever.
Love Finish Ultimate. Aldi Logix is not bad either and much cheaper….

    • would you mind to tell me what brand and maybe model if you have it of your dishwasher? Our Asko dishwasher tends to leave quite a bit of chemical smells on most tablets and I can even taste them most of the time as well so not sure it if it is the tablets or dishwasher's fault : (

        Bosch Series 8

      • We've got a Bosch Series 6 and normally run the quick 60min or 30min cycle - no bad smells/taste with these tablets.
