Looks like EB Games has added a "Buy One Get One at Half Price" promotion after removing the previous discounts in their Summer "Sale". Some decent prices if you're after a few games and / or controllers.
I picked up Bravely Default II and Snipperclips Plus for $58.95 delivered. Am tempted to get a Grey Joycon pair as well for $72 C&C (you need to choose from the colours available in-store at the time of pickup, so it's a bit of a gamble)
If you are confident in opening the joycon the drift has been successfully fixed using cardboard, plenty of how to's on YouTube etc

Even with a 50% off on a second game these are nearly all terrible prices for pre-owned games, most half been cheaper new at JB and Amazon etc.

my understanding is that the last buy one get one FREE deal didn't include any Nintendo switch games. :( I have a quick look. Not much cheaper with the switch games.

A few weeks ago I went in to buy a preowned PS5 dualsense controller, $77 online and in store. Now it’s $88.

It's not illegal. They just got rid of the previous sale and set up this new one so both are not running concurrently
I bought Watchdogs Legion for $15 a few days ago and it's now $28. Was eyeing another game for $12 which is now $19. Definitely saw a bunch of others inflated in price.
Yeah like most people I've noticed a few things go up between 25-50% that I was keeping an eye on. Dodgy as hell.

Second hand games makes sense but given the issues with joy cons I don’t know if I’d be willing to take that gamble for limited savings.
