    any baaarggggggains ?

    • +8

I've been searching since this deal was posted and can't find any…

      • Is it because of Jack?

        • +2

          Can't even check.

OP has not posted any bargains to check…

      • +3

Completely unrelated and just curious, do you have like the most comments ever made on OzB? Literally almost 90k.
Based on rough calculations gives an average of ~20 comments per day!
        Insaaaneeeeeee

        • do you have like the most comments ever made on OzB?

          Dunno, I'm not counting.

Do you mean just me? or the rest of my team?

        • -1

average of ~20 comments per day!

          Does that include Public Holidays?

average of ~20 comments per day

*20 junk comments per day, no deals though..

      • -1

there will be some decent bargain if you look deep enough

None have been posted by the OP though…

      • +1

I'll call it now. Big sellers with bargains will pricejack anyway. Bargains will be hard to find or short lived

      • +8

So sick of having to look ‘Deep’ in Ebay to find a bargain. They need a total Overhaul on how they use codes, coupons, vouchers etc. would also be nice to have a gift card account balance like Amazon. And make it clearer which codes work for what. I’ve become fatigued searching through their crap and testing codes that don’t work to the point a good deal comes along and it’s just not worth the effort!

        • +10

better option is if ebay looks at my watch list, and advises what is 'eligible'
then maybe i might convert from the "watch list" to the "buy list"

          • @timmy_tam: That’s a great idea, I so would likely buy more too.
Hopefully they progress eventually & make the experience more streamlined & enjoyable to snip up a deal! Been waiting way too long

      • +1

Can you share somw decent bargains? 1st day of work, can't dig too deep for a bargain ;)

Any deals on competent political leaders?

    • +11

      No, they're priceless…

    • +18

To be fair, ScoMo could be replaced by a cardboard cut out and it would be a vast improvement because it wouldn't speak.

    • Sorry, out of stock, though if they were available you can get 5 free

  • +4

CPU prices have already been raised to account for the discount.
    i5 12600k's that were $500ish yesterday are now $550ish.

    • I can't even find any listings for CPUs via the link on the eBay homepage.
      https://imgur.com/a/heTJ4QC

      • I was checking prior to the link working, seems they've raised it for another reason.

    • Only one cpu bundle available and it’s super jacked in price

      • So glad I waited until after Christmas to treat myself to a new CPU/mobo combo. :/

        • missed out last tuesday by one minute :c

looks like Mr Jacked Up has been busy

I don't usually comment on this stuff, but I have to agree with the sentiment in many of the comments: It's an hour since the deal was posted and there's not actually any bargains/deals specifically mentioned.

    This is theoretically a bargain.

I'd prefer something tangible and real.
A quick "e.g. Super COVID killing handwash (with link)" or "4xAA Eneloops (with link)" would be much preferred.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have gone off ebay. Most sellers use Au$post to deliver and I've had enough of waiting two weeks or more for a package to get from Sydney to Melbourne, when Ama$on deliver things overnight for free. Yes the range isn't as big and some things are more expensive, but I'd rather cop that and have my things the next day.

    • +3
      1. Amazon has DC's in Sydney, so getting an item quicker from Sydney vs getting an item from Melbourne is pretty much a certainty.
      2. Amazon also uses Australia Post to deliver, so…..
      • Yes they do have DC's in Sydney. They also have them in Melbourne so I'm not sure what your point is.

And yes they do use Ozpost sometimes, but they don't use them for overnight delivery. They use Uber. Buy the things that say delivered next day and bob's your aunty. So….

        • Misread your initial comment (from Sydney to Melbourne not the other way around). Point still stands though. Due to Amazon DC's in both cities, you'll simply get it faster. Amazon has an insane level of automation and hundreds of processes that ensure a quick and seamless delivery, including when using AP for delivery.

eBay just doesn't have anything remotely similar. You're buying from individuals, small sellers and larger companies, with each of them running on their own clock.

It really shouldn't be a difficult thing to understand why Amazon are faster, even though use Australia Post (not sometimes, but frequently).

Also, my experience has been that Amazon items are cheaper than eBay. But YMMV.

      OK, boomer.

There's always one….Sadly for me it's a nickname I've had since I was a kid. It is great at luring out millennials though :-)

        • +5

It could be worse, your real name could be Karen.

1 worse than that, Karen Boomer.

      • +3

This phrase is so over used

Every time I get a delayed delivery through eBay, they send me a $5 voucher. Have gotten a heap of them over the past year…

      • I've never received one

        • You need ebay plus membership.

      • Not anymore, even the plus member, they now ignore it and blame for covid.

        • I got one a couple of weeks ago

    • I think the key to using ebay is knowing where the seller is located, as it appears that trying deliveries that are interstate is taking 2wks. I'm still waiting for stuff that I order before xmas to be delivered. And it's not just using auspost

    • +1

If you get bulky item, it's even worst when they use Aramex, the worst courier ever. In average, I give negative feedback to 8/10 of my purchases of bulky items delivered via Aramex for late delivery.

  • Already seen evidence of Jack. Razer Kiyo X was $79, now $82.95. Mind you, still end up between off with the discount.

Anyone have an opinion of this webcam as compared to the C920?

  • How is it possible this gets so many positive votes?
I cannot find any real bargain?
*This is addressed to ebay and ozbargain community's voting - not you OP

    Bots from ebay maybe?

    • The AirPods are sort of a bargain. They aren’t normally discounted.

  • +3

64 upvotes and not one bargain.

  • Not a single bargain??

  • ebay, used to be ok, now I always try to avoid them unless no option.

    • Yeah Yeah Yeah and at certain times they kick AMZ a$$ .
Obviously some people are incapable of identifying the spots .

    • I've snagged heaps of items at unbelieveable prices since COVID started, insane deals on booze damn near month and just last week I picked this up, a 3060ti for $785, try and get that anywhere else - https://ibb.co/dWRVv4s

Of all the subscription services out there I'd say eBay Plus has been the best value for money for me, especially given that the $50 annual fee was recomped with teh $49 sign on credit.

EBay’s association with Jack has well and truly pushed me to Amazon. I only ever buy random stuff on eBay now, and it’s rare. In stores it’s easier to get a better deal.
