  • How's this brand compared to Jabra?

    • +1

Much cheaper in price and quality.

  • Thanks OP.

What's the difference to this one:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/SoundPEATS-aptX-Adaptive-TrueWirel…

Is that Trueair2+ or something new?

    Cheers

    • +1

not trueair2+, it is trueair2 AI, which has the voice assistant: Hi, SoundPEATS.

Can you arrange a special on this model?
I'm chasing someone with wireless charging and these ones look perfect!

  • mini not on special?

Got these the other day in a Lightning Deal (~$38) as a cheap and portable pair of earbuds that I can just throw into my bag.

Nothing too crazy about them - despite being the No.1 recommended Budget Wireless Earphones or EarBuds under $80 in 2021. Sound quality is decent for the price you're paying, but there's basically no isolation - so you really have to crank them up really high if you're out and about. Don't have much to say about the comfort - they just feel like any other normal earbud (didn't receive any of the eartips that this post mentions). The touch controls are so finicky that I avoided them all together. The case design is pretty horrible too, as the charging port is on the side - screws with your head a bit whenever you open the case. I guess they do charge fairly quickly, which could be a slight redeeming factor.

Have not tried calling with them, but don't have particularly high hopes.

Own these and they are ok for calls indoors … add even the slightest hint of wind and they are shocking.

      • Weird, mine are opposite. Never particularly good quality but handle wind, traffic noise etc quite well

        • Would love for you to provide some evidence for this.

also bought some last year, no idea what the reference to ear bud sizes is, unless they are referring to the "new mini". I bought these as I can't jam things into my ears and be comfortable. The sound quality is better than I would have expected for $40 but not earth shatteringly "OMG THEY ONLY COST $40" like some reviewers or youtube vids make them out.

I bought the baby blue ones and I look like a complete (profanity), so maybe stick to black or white.

    • Get the Soundpeats Q for better iso. I prefer them over the trueair

    • +3

The TrueAir 2 are SEMI in-ear and don't come with ear tips.

You will never get good isolation or decent bass from this type of setup.

    I have the Trueair 2’s.

The earbuds constantly loose bluetooth sync with each other and cut out.

It is also impossible for people to hear you if you are outside.

Despite this, they still aren’t bad for ~$35

    • I have had many people complain about background noise.

Wouldn't buy again due to this problem.

  • I have a pair of the TrueAir2 and recently bought my daughter the T3 buds, just did a head to head against my pair of Bose QC30 to compare sound, bass and ANC (not phone, actual ANC) The T2 are surprisingly good, ANC level is less than Bose but still noticeable. Bass on both is hits well and deep while listing to 'Bang Bang'.
Would I buy the Bose today for $300+? No way, I'd buy a couple of sets of Soundpeats and save over $200. I am seriously considering buying a set of T3 for myself now too.

    • "ANC level is less than Bose but still noticeable"

Nope. The TruAir2s don't have any ANC.

      • ..but the T3's do.

  • Any deals for the Air3? How does it perform compared to the Mini, especially with calls and gaming? Tempted to get that instead of the Mini due to the Game Mode.

  • @spcoker

    Any reply to my PM?

  • Deal finished already? That was quick!

    • yes, this is normal DOTD, that is to say will have such deal every week, but only one day, please note
