One charge allows you to enjoy up to 5.5 hours of toy activity

Depends on how powerful the toy is! 😏

For the same price I'd get Eneloops

I'd get Laddas if there was an Ikea nearby.

Eneloop is such a weird name, lol.

Should be $0 shipping with $49 spend (not $0 with Prime/ $39 Spend) as it's from Amazon UK. Also note these are 1.2v which may be important to some.

    • +1

Good call on the shipping costs. Makes these batteries only a good filler if you need to reach $49 for something else, as these batteries at that price are nothing outstanding.

Also 1.2V has been standard for AA/AAA rechargeables since ever.

The world's 1st rechargeable AA battery made with 4% recycled batteries

And those fat cats at the anti-recycling league said it couldn't be done… We truly are living in the golden age!

If they ever reach 5%, i'll be sure to begin to start thinking about considering adding them to my wishlist!

Do yourself a favour and get eneloop. My experience with these years ago showed they self-drained like a black hole and wouldn't last a year. I don't think they changed much since.

    • Yep, I wouldn't trust them again.

These are not LSD (Low Self Discharge) batteries like Eneloops or Ladda from IKEA, they will not hold charge well if kept in storage.

    • The description says that they are. The lower 2000mAh capacity also points to a thicker separator which is used in LSD cells.

Flying 4 rechargeable batteries from other side of world kinda negates some of the environmental benefits.

    • This deal kinda negates the OzB purpose.

Energizer are the only rechargeable battery that has leaked on me.
They never held their charge well (only good for a couple of days), and were just crap compared to the Eneloops and Jaycar branded batteries I had.
Even the crappy duracell rechargeable were better.
I wouldn't ever buy them again.

    • My experience as well but it was a few years go.

  • +1

It is the only rechargeable batteries I have seen get chucked out (at work)

    • Are you talking this particular LSD model or the old NiCd/NiMH Energizers that look the same and used to be quite popular before the LSD era?

I agree the latter were shit, widely, after 5-10 years or so in any office, while eg. Eneloops would go strong even after 10+ years on.

Surprisingly Energizer kept the metallic design of the yesteryear's, way worse performing model.

      • I remember those old NiMH energizers. The ones I bought were useless, which was surprising as they were made in Japan.

Just looked at it. It is AA 1300mAh but says Made In China. NiMH. The +ve side 1cm is green, rest is silver.

Now just doing service in low draw stuff.
