cheap, ugly but functionalDec 13, 2011

$37, most basic camera available. seems a 'decent' build although on the 'disposable' side. no features - just point and shoot. Charges via USB cable. very poor audio quality.too large for 'covert' use however, because of size, fits well in hand. no motion detection.$37 from creative official website in the end of last year?
well….$29.95 plus shipping is not a real bargain.
Is this better than the Kodak ZM-1 or something that was on special the other week? Doesnt appear to have a microSD slot.
I have no idea about this model, but the Kodak is only 640*480. I'm happy with the basic image quality, it's good for my daughter, and one positive, it takes very good low light images.
Other than that, I haven't used it too much.
The ZX1 is HD 720p.
They are OK and easy to use.
ZX1 doesnt have anti shake and has "manual zoom" ie: you move the camera closer to the object to make it bigger :)

The Kodak is waterproof. A good 640x480 sensor will actually have better image quality than a poor 1280x720 sensor, and Kodak are well known for good quality sensors. In fact a lot of these cheaper cameras use interpolation to make a 'pretend' HD image, so their sensors are actually 640x480 or worse.
I bought the Kodak mini camera last month because I've always been impressed with Kodak digital cameras, and also because it's waterproof, and was not disappointed. The low-light performance and clarity are fantastic, much better than a friend's 1280x720p no-name "HD" handicam which cost him $180. I can make out more detail on the lower-res Kodak images than I can on the (supposedly) HD recordings from the other camera.
shit camera, dont buy, you won't be happy with it..
These are rubbish and image quality is horrible because of tiny pinhole lense
Not a bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!These things are on par with most standard phone cameras these days… If not worse.
COTD just bumped orders with:
"I apologise that we haven't informed you sooner, we've been frantically trying to locate extra in order to fulfil your order, but we haven't been able to get any more."If you don't have it, don't sell it.
Put shipping price in title/description. Thanks.
