At nearly half the price (on sale), with the same sensor - the razor kiyo pro male's for better value. This also doesn't have auto focus! Even if it's not great, it's good to have the option for it.
Overpriced. Logitech StreamCam is cheaper.
Depends what you after, the main plus for this camera is the manual controls and the settings actually persisting. Lots of reviews online.
Elgato is a Mac brand. Prices accordingly.
Same featureset available in a much more affordable price.
Max build, reliability, resale and ease of use too?
It's a webcam.
The usecases is zoom meetings, not faproulette.
The reviews are very mixed. I do live the sound of the fixed focal length though. My Logitech Brio constantly has issues with focus.
Correct me if I'm wrong, this does not have a build in mic.
Reviews seems pretty good and beats the Logitech Streamcam which I thought was one of the best webcams. Quite pricey though but if you’re in the market, I think this is a good one. The software saves the settings directly to the cam so you’re not streaming from a video output which is a massive plus!
I have a Logitech Brio and the software is utter crap. It does support Windows Hello though which is nice to have.
In the market to upgrade to the Elgato Facecam to make adjusting settings easier as I use it mostly in a fairly dark room.
Originally moved to the BRIO from the C920.Did you get the Elgato? I'm the same as you. I have the Brio and had the C920. I don't really like the Brio apart from the Windows Hello.
I did get it as the price dropped to an all time low on Amazon recently.. It's a good camera. Wider field of view than I expected.
I'm interested in people's thoughts on this? I need a webcam for the home office
