I just wear boxers from KMart/BigW/other cheap department store.
Uniqlo Airism was the best so far I have tried. I have 2 pairs that were bought 5 years ago and still alright. I have bought a lot since. Usually goes to sale before from 14.99 to 9.99 each but no sale lately.
End thread
Calvin Klein
Yeah, Calvin Klein Body used to be my goto. But, that line seem to have been discontinued when PVA acquired CK.
David Archy Micro Modal Briefs
west bay, from Aldi
Marks & Spencer
Bamboo for alixpress
good question, none of mine fit well everywhere (they might fit well standing but sitting not so much, another might be good sitting but not while walking/moving about)
a real problemNext at next.com.au, been using since 2001 comfy as …
Knobby, they last and look great. Keep my junk in place.
Kmart alpha
Xiaomi does underwear too???!
It does anything as long as it can extract a few pennies out of your pocket.
Jockey is my way to go.
+1 for Jockey
I also like the Russel Athletic Boxer briefs I am currently using from Amazon, very similar quality / style to Jockey.
Jockey is what I wear too. My favourite is their performance/active wear ones with the air mesh. They are $25 RRP but often at 30-40% off. I recently purchased a 4pk of Jockey cotton briefs but they were nowhere near the same quality as the performance range. The cotton ones got holes in them after only a few washes. They were also much smaller and very tight fitting. I am normally size small in mens underwear but went with the medium. The cotton ones were still way too tight but the active briefs fit perfectly & have lasted for a long time.
My favourite as well. Their trunks are very comfortable.
Tommy Hilfiger is the best, even better when you get them while they are on sale.
I like knock-off/copied Calvin Klein briefs from Asian stores.
Though now it’s summer I just wear sports shorts like Nike dri-fit with a mesh or thin underwear built into them.
Wearing step ones mostly now. I unfortunately have a gut and no ass so I'm yet to find a comfy pair of undies. Everything folds over unless I bring them up to my belly button…worse is clothes. Even if shorts fit well and I wear a belt. I'm constantly having to readjust, pull up pants, tuck shirt back in.
Might try the suspenders look. Or of course…lose weight.
Bonds. Jocks, not boxer style.
I prefer cheekster or hipster style, really comfy, especially cotton seamless style
Kmart anko trunks, $3 a pair, they're comfortable enough and last for a good 6 months
what ever my neighbour hangs out on the clothes line
Under armour.
Using around 20 pairs in rotation now. It’s like having 40 pairs when you turn them inside out on the second day…😳
eww I've never done that!
If you turn them around you can extend that to 80 days. Though always do the wall test, if they stick when you throw at wall it may be time to consider washing.
Thanks for the tip mate 😂😂, all the best for the new year
Whatever brand my mum gets
Calvin Klein - Concept Micro Low Rise were the best I ever found. 7 years on and look as new as the day they were bought. Unfortunately no longer made it seems
I live a commando life.
I used to be a Bonds fan, sizing way too inconsistent though.
Thanks OP for the question, will be trying out some of the suggestions aboveYou can sometimes find it in your local independent chemist. Boody bamboo undies are so comfy! Especially in summer
Mitch Dowd Long Leg
Have owned most of the brands out there and have finally found amazing ones. Jockey international edition. Ck, oroton etc are good but level below in comfort and quality. Bonds are horrible lately and likely last on the list.
Found that bonds from supermarkets is awful now, but the bonds originals trunks from bonds stores are as good as they've ever been
Obviously
Jockey Yfront
They last 20 years
About $0.70 investment per yearBonds as Scott suggest 💪🏿
Big W generic branded ones are pretty good.
Just as important, is how you wash and care for your undies. If you chuck them in the dryer one too many times they won't last very long.
So many responses already, but my thoughts thus far have been that if you already have a membership, the pack of Champion Boxer briefs from CostCo are the best. I’ve used Bonds, K Mart, Big W, and others before, but they tend to lose their shape, and elasticity, as well as ride up fairly quickly.
But, if not the Champion I’d go with Bonds because I think they’re the most available, and apart from the Champion, the best of a bad bunch. Champion is also owned by the same company as Bonds (Hanes Brands).
This is the ones I mean.. unfortunately out of stock online, but might be available in your local?

These Champion boxer briefs are the most comfortable I've found.
I was surprised to see nobody else had mentioned them, but then again until recently I could only find them in CostCo, but they might have been available elsewhere, not sure about that. You can get singles in Big W but they’re a lot more expensive than the CostCo ones. But yeah, they’re bloody comfy.
I have no special needs in the mid portion of my body, the Uniqlo boxer briefs support the billiard balls and cue well enough even if the cue tip is chalked
😂
Always wore Bonds, then took a chance and bought fruit of the loom on Ozbargains and absolutely love them!
Sparx are my favourite. I've spent the last few months trying Step One, Sparx and Knobby.
In this order: Sparx > Knobby > Step One.
I live in a very hot climate and their breathability is very important to me as well. Step One are the least breathable, and the Sparx have the kanga pouch which feels like great cupping.
And then there are the ol' reliable Bonds which are cheap and available everywhere which is what I've been using up until this year (a few sporadic different bamboo ones in between but they don't last)
Uniqlo cotton for everyday use.
Uniqlo Airsim for sports.
Ex-Officio for travelling/long term backpacking.
anko boxers for me…
I like the "Emerson" ones from Big W. They're cheap. I don't really understand why they're so expensive in the first place though
I'm a larger guy, I have always trusted the Tradies brand. They are fairly durable, flexible sizing. They even threw in a face mask with my last order lol.
Uniqlo
Champion boxer Brief. From Costco.
5 pack for $22.99.
Was once $15 or $16
KMart ones work for me and last many years (8-10) before the elastic fails and holes start to develope.
To give you an idea of my use case:
I work in the hospital and have a reasonable mix of walk/stand/sit
Exercise is mainly gym and hikingTL;DR: Debriefs
I’ve tried Bonds, Kmart, Calvin Klein, Versace, Ermenegildo Zegna and what I’ve learnt is that MicroModal Max is the superior fabric. The only brand I’ve found to have it readily is Tani, but they don’t really sell this line in Australia. With that in mind, Debriefs sells MicroModal for $20-30 each which is the best for price from what I’ve found (and I’d like to think I’ve searched a fair bit). Only mainstream one I haven’t tried is Step One.
Super late to this, but bamboo Boody undies. They're incredible. Soft, light, you don't get stanky taint after wearing em all day and hold their form well. I wear the trunks (hairy legs and rubbing from running = pain and equally painful regrowth) and over time replaced all other undies with em.
Use an ozbargain code and get em. Brother used to use Step One but transitioned over. It may sound like i'm shilling, but honestly they're amazing. I run hot and these solve all those itchy, sweaty problems. Do yourself a favour
I get budgie smuggler type from Paddy's Markets - something like $10 for 5 pairs - last for many years
when the elastic finally goes, I bin them but AFAIK I've still got some I bought 10 or more years ago
While on holiday needed more jocks, walked into Ross and bought first packet I saw which was these:
https://www.amazon.com.au/HEAD-Performance-Underwear-3PACK-B…Literally the only jocks I'd ever buy now, recommended to some mate who also pretty much just wear them now as well. Can pick up for $20 for a 2pk on Catch from time to time.
Lululemon Always In Motion Boxer are slowly replacing my old bonds and CK’s. They are expensive but feel amazing.
I used to use Bonds guy front trunks but they have been crap for a few years now and even on sale they are poor value. Bonds have been trading on their history for way too long now and their products are really low quality for the price you pay.
I found Kmart Alpha trunks to be decent for the price but got some Christmas themed Target Maxx trunks as a gift and have switched over to them for a while to see how they last.

Bond x-temp, you won't regret it.
