Just when I need to get off fried foods… so tempting…

    • +4

You still got few days till new year resolutions, so its time for KFC.

  • Still $23.95 at my local, for the 'value' burger box.

    Must be location specific

    • Are you in WA? I just checked a few stores around Perth and all are $19.95

      • Yep, south coast.

Ironically, the fill up box is still $4.95

    • Value burger box is now $19.95 at my local…was $23.95.

The Fill Up Box is the bomb!

    • Wasn't there normally a drink with the fill up box?

      • Not sure but just do the free chips and drink code ;)

        • +2

Yes , there wasnt a drink so get the survey chips and drink and its a decent feed

        • +1

          Of course, $4.95 minimum.
Chips and drink on the survey code!!

      • +1

I think usually you can add a drink for a dollar or so.

      • +2

If you mix the potato and gravy well you might be able to slurp it out of the container.

    • +1

It's very little chicken though. The tender is tiny, so are most of the original pieces (a wing or drumstick is usually what they give me)

  • +7

If only the burgers shown were exactly like what you get, i.e the bun is nice, fresh and fluffy.

Everytime I order a burger, the bun is deflated and the burger is such a mess so I get turned off buying any burgers from kfc

    • Not as bad as whammy burger I hope

    • +6

Still better than the crap offered by maccas

      • +1

I complained to Maccas thru feedback and they said they will note on file for a freebie
thing is I won't bother unless travelling!
        (Even then is a maybe)

  • If you're with Westpac you can get 2 for 1 original recipe burgers through the "dining deals through entertainment" offer. It may be SA only however.

    • how much does it make them each cost

      • $3 each

        • any idea if it is a once off offer or repeatable offer

    • I can't find this, can you please elaborate? I'm familiar with the credit card offer page but assuming you're referencing somewhere else?

      • same! would like to know also

        • One of the offers I have under my credit card (also appeared for my debit card) is "1000+ dining deals". If you click through that and search for kfc, one of the deals is the two for one burgers.

  • Can't find this on my app castle hill sydney

Are wicked wings missing from anyones menu or it is just my area of Qld? Not in snacks, build your own bucket, or anywhere for me.

    • +1

Same in metro VIC. Not sure what’s going on.

      • Same in SA. All gone. Don’t know why.

        • +3

          Shortage from suppliers (specifically Inghams)

          • @Vinodra: Oh thank you for letting me know. Hope it gets back soon. Thanks😊

          • @Vinodra: So are they available instore but not on app or not available at all? In general.

            • +2

@Rain Cloud: Depends on the store, best to ring the store in question and ask.

In most cases I think stores are still getting them, just significantly less than they are ordering.

          • @Vinodra: Isn't there an Inghams farm in Pakenham? Surprised they're the company in trouble.

    • +1

Same and I’m in Newcastle. Zinger box is still there though which includes Wicked wings.. looks to be the only item

    • Sane here in SA. Wicked wings are my only items I want from KFC.

    • Not just me then.. I hope they havent removed them from the menu permanently..

    • Same in NSW. Gone since boxing day.

  • +1

KFC Salamander Bay NSW is shut indefinitely due to lack of staff from COVID infections and exposures….

    • +12

      Salmonella Bay

    • Living with COVID.
We are so much luckier than WA, or New Zealand where they haven’t experienced these benefits.

    • -1

It's the KFC regular customers (unhealthy) who are in danger, not the staff…

  • Mates Burger Box appears to be back too as it wasn't there a week or so ago.

  • +1

    God Bless The Colonel

  • $4.95 Fill Up Box - FREE chips and drink when you do KFC feedback.

    • how do you do the feedback on the app?

      • +2

It's on a separate website, but just write any 5 digits on there. I know a good few people who have or do work at KFC and they all say they've never actually punched a code in.

        Edit: On the receipt.

        • I read here that it needs to be divisible by 3, I have tried that it works but unsure if any 5 digit number works. Most of the time the staff do know how to do the numbers so I do make sure I definitely get a valid number in case.

    (profanity) yeah!

Though honestly the all the time 23 buck one with a bottle of Pepsi included, when combined with the extra large chips and another bottle, might still take the cake for me. 3 bucks for 2x 1.25l and another large / 2 small chips. Shit idk.

Do you need the app for these ones or nah?

    • Update: do not need app, source: my 4.95 lighter wallet

  • Ah you've triggered me..

  • +5

This is a good deal but the "cheap as chips" deal (available every day via the app) is still the best deal going around to feed a family. 8 bits of chicken, 4 large sides of your choice, and 6 nugs for $20.95 is ridiculously good value, albeit unhealthy.

  • +3

Just had the $4.95 for brunch…..

  • Cans of drink are an additional $1.50 for anyone wondering. Total is $6.45

    • +1

Frozen drinks are still a buck at some places in case anyone is going for value but needs some liquid

      • +1

"some" places? Wait so some have gone up in price? No thanks

        • Oh haha I'm not actually sure if any places have gone up! I just know that I saw it for $1 yesterday, but I didn't want to speak for all locations. I have heard that KFC in different states sometimes have different deals

  • No chicken wings in VIC stores?

    • Literally everywhere based on the comments. Hope they're back soon.

  • unable to order zinger burger or fill up in beaudesert qld or jimboomba qld?

  • Yesterday my local had zero OR at opening.

    • +1

Last week our local had no OR but could choose H&S in its place

  • Damn they finished this one up early :(

    • Yep. Over

    • You reckon its chicken supply issues? Its been available for less than two weeks!

      • I think so… they usually tell you when something is about to go. This one just disappeared.

        • Yep, just looked. The 'limited time only' square (where the fill up and burger boxes are) are missing from at least the three closest to me. Interestingly, the fill up box was never physically advertised at my local at all, although it could be ordered.

          • @Rain Cloud: The offer was never app exclusive. Best to try and order in-store.

My local also has Boneless Hot & Crispy offered in-store but it isn't on the app menu.

            Supply issue due to Covid-19

            • @brandogs: I know it wasnt app exclusive. I did say I had ordered instore, just interesting they didnt advertise it instore right from the beginning, like stock was low before the even deal started and they didnt want to advertise?

Interested to know if anyone tries to order it instore after it disappeared from the app, whether they are still offering it. Its just normal menu items that are still offered on the app in other combos so technically they should still have some actual stock?

              • @Rain Cloud: Still being advertised on the big banner outside the store and even on bus stop advertisements here in Brisbane, just not available on the app.

                • @brandogs: Cool. Wonder why just removed from the app then. Only for the ones brave enough to talk to a real human, lol.

  • Still available at Canterbury and Lakemba KFC.
Yesterday Rockdale store told me it ended last week ?
Must be a mistake or something.

    • There is a supply issue for KFC Australia wide. They removed these deals from the app but if the store has stock it'll still be available in store

  • Does anyone know when this ends in-store?

    • +1

Most likely Monday 24th Jan will be the last day, however it could change due to supply issues.

Worse yet the deal could end and not be replaced with a new deal due to supply issues.

      • Im assuming this deal has ended instore now too with 24 nugs for $10 on now?

  • Drove past 2 kfc today with the $4.95 banner out the front
