NordVPN: 95% Cashback for New Customers, No Cap @ Cashrewards

260

30 day money back guarantee from Nord for peace of mind.

Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards.

Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will not include any GST, taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.

The amount that tracks to your Cashrewards account may differ to the paid amount due to international exchange rates. • So if you get the 2yr deal you should get about 85back?

      Make sure do not choose Australia, to save 10% GST, use Hong Kong for example. I had surfshark recently, yes, basically you pay only little to get 2 years VPN.

    • Isn't the 2 year plan $79

      • +1

        Think this might be USD? I chose a non GST country and my receipt says $108 AUD which is $79USD converted

        • +1

          I got $100 cashback, so $8-9 for 2 yrs after exchange rates

    Some tips from previous posts:

    A new customer is as defined by NordVPN. Simply use a new email address at their end, the same Cashrewards account as always, and you're good to go. Please remember to click 'Shop Now' or 'Shop Offer' and buy. Don't go clicking to other sites and certainly don't use any 3rd party plugins etc. Best bet is to use the Cashrewards mobile app on 4G/5G as this eliminates any potential issues with WiFi/router firewalls and the like. Tracking for NordVPN typically takes 1-4 hours. And remember you have the safety of their money back guarantee. All the best, and have a great day!

    • TA, wondering whats the cashback time for nordvpn?

      • The link says:

        ESTIMATED APPROVAL
        Up to 95 days

    What do Nord VPN consider to be a new customer? If you haven't been an active paying customer with them for at least 30 days?

    Edit: my question was answered above as I was typing it. What magic is this? 😉

    NordVPN: 95% Cashback for New Customers

    How do they make any money?

      Your data :)

    • Anyone that doesn't charge you collects your data and sells it. It's good for Netflix etc but I would not count on it for privacy and confidentiality.

    Got nordvpn 30% off 1.5weeks ago.
    Thinking of cancelling and signing up again

  • Anybody know if nord works again with USA Netflix on android? Had it a few years back but went elsewhere after it stopped working.

    • Works for USA Netflix on PC. Haven't tried Android

    • Yep, works on my Shield. You may have to try a few different Nord US servers though - unless you get the list of current servers and nominate one that Netflix doesn't recognise.

    For anyone interested in their Privacy Policy:

    Sharing your personal data

    We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

    Service providers. We use third-party service providers to help us with various operations, such as payment processing, email automation, website and app diagnostics, analytics and other. As a result, some of these providers may process personal information.

    Some of our main long-term service providers:

    • Live chat and support service platform – Zendesk (provided by Zendesk Inc.);
    • Emailing service providers – Iterable (by Iterable Inc.), Sendgrid (by Twilio Inc.);
    • Application analytics and diagnostics – Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics (provided by Google);
    • AppsFlyer (by AppsFlyer Ltd.), Bugsnag (by Bugsnag Inc.);
    • Conversion attribution system – Hasoffers (provided by Tune Inc.);

    Sometimes our service providers, for example, distributors, resellers, and app store partners, will be independent controllers of your data. Their terms and conditions and privacy policies will apply to such relationships.

    Your personal information may be processed in any country in which we engage service providers. When you use our Services, you acknowledge the transfer of your personal information outside of the country where you reside.

    • Thanks for sharing this, good to know. I'm assuming something similar would apply to all VPN service providers, not just Nord VPN.

      • Yeah it's definitely worth reading the privacy policies for each VPN provider. Some are all too happy to share your data while others are much stricter. Nord like to promote no collection of data but PII is a different beast. The challenge with something like the above privacy policy is that you then need to go down the rabbit hole of reviewing privacy policies for each of the above service providers, as they will have their own policies. And in turn, they possibly share different parts of your data with other providers… and you end up getting inception-like layers of different policies with bits of personal data being bounced around all over the place.

        Personally, I'd be more concerned about AppsFlyer and Hasoffers as they are the marketing/affiliate providers.

        In saying all that, I've been using Nord for a year or two now as I'm satisfied with the terms (mostly). They're the lesser evil IMO.

        • Yeah I agree, Nord have promoted themselves as one of the safer VPN's in terms of data collection, but like you said, investigating their privacy policies and that of their service providers is a nightmare, and pretty much impossible to understand exactly which pieces of information are being shared with them and how long that data is being retained by them as well. I've also been using NordVPN for about 5 years now, no issues, but as a business changes its service providers, so does one's ability to keep their data safe from being bounced around and stored in anonymous places.

    Wouldn’t trust any of them. So many have murky links to various intelligence agencies.

    https://restoreprivacy.com/kape-technologies-owns-expressvpn…

  • Did they bump up the price by $10 USD? CashRewards says 72% off, but I only see 68% off and $89 for first 2 years. Meh Guess it'll just come back in cashback…

    • $89USD -> $113.40AUD tracked.
      $121.93 charged to AMEX.
      Effective 93% cashback or $8.53 for 2 years of NordVPN.

  • Great timing.

  • I have never used VPN. Any suggestions from VPN exeperts and users here on
    1. Is it okay signup from cashrewards directly? (There was a mention above about not using Aus to save
    2. I have an andorid tv (sony) running the streaming apps how do I configure the andriod tv to use VPN ?
    Thanks in advance !!
